Thank you all for all the special sentiments. ZQC is my only human family. You are very comforting. Hugs back to everyone.
Thanks Sunfell. It's hard to even think right now.
Thanks Schnips, this is going to be a hard one. Barney was boss dog.
Hello ZQC, I have a heavy heart this morning. Barney, my Irish Wolfhound-Airedale mix (see my icon) passed away last night from cancer. He was 11 years old. The symptoms came on suddenly and I had to rush him to... Continue reading

Magic, "Q", as I called him, was unhappy in my (large) fenced-in yard even with the other dogs so he went to live on a farm near here with some people who wanted him as a playmate for their 110 pound rottweiler. She kept injuring smaller dogs she would try to play with. Q was on his way to 150 pounds. At last report the pair was happy roaming the farm keeping the place safe. (I wouldn't go in a yard guarded by a rottweiler and a mastiff)! I think they changed his name tho.
Question time 1. What is the most bizarre product name you've ever seen? "No Monkey Butt" at Tractor Supply. A medicated talc that is supposed to help with chapped skin. 2. Supermarket, mall, or local shop? Walmart. The only game... Continue reading

Next to Zach, Richard Chamberlin is my favorite American actor. Who could forget Shogun (if you saw it!)? If you meet him be sure to tell him his fans haven't forgotten!

OK, for those of us who live in the boonies... what is an empanada? (I'm really not dumb, just clueless sometimes).

Sometimes work is the best medicine. I treat negative people the same way I treat my dogs when they exhibit some unacceptable behavior...I ignore them. Hang in there, sounds like you are on the right track!

Magic, Quinto aka "Q" the mastiff/boxer I rescued some weeks ago was so big I just didn't have the right home for him. So he went to live with some folks on a farm near here where he can run and play and just be his huge doggie self. All reports are that he is gloriously happy not to be confined to a fenced in yard. Miracles do happen. Glad you remember him, I sure do. Anyway its back to Dogmom4... until the next one.
