Funny how Obama's "gaffes" are allowed to go uncorrected for days, weeks, months...however long they are useful and until they become UNuseful.
If his advisors KNEW he had made a mistake, why wasn't the statement walked back over the next few news cycles? I'll tell you why: because it was such a huge gaffe it would have to be retracted, not walked back. And that would be too embarassing.
Why does the media let them get away with it? Check out Benghazi, where many insiders have told us they knew early on that it was a terrorist attack. Yet they watched Susan Rice's testimony and not one administration official demanded a correction of the asserion that it was a spontaneous demonstration. They knew it was wrong, but allowed the public to be misled.
It's their modus operandi.
