That's an excellent point Jill. As with ANY treatments, knowing one's body, listening to our own inner voice, consultation with our healthcare provider and seeking a qualified/certified practioner is of utmost importance. According to apitherapy.org, "Contrary to popular belief allergy to honey bee sting is relatively rare: about 7 in a thousand persons is allergic. Of this proportion only a small percentage risks anaphylactic shock. Never the less bee venom treatment is always to be preceded by a test of sensitivity. A sensitive person can be de-sensitized to bee venom, thus allowing Apitherapy to proceed. AAS recommends that any one that uses or administers bee venom have readily available an Epinephrine kit to be used in case of anaphylactic response and know how to use it. Erroneously, many people consider swelling after a sting to be an allergic reaction. Swelling is a normal response of the body as are localized redness, swelling and itching." Jill, you're right in suggesting that every treatment is not for every person. That is why this is such a great forum for exploration and information sharing. Thanks so much for your comment!

Thanks Steven for your comment. It's important that people arm themselves with information to make healthy decisions for themselves. Interesting opportunity for improving sensory perception. ~MiChelle

Well-said Jennifer! I agree with your nurse instructors. Life's challenging enough. Positive perspective has saved me during some real challenges. And my creative problem-solving ability goes up when I stay positive as well. Have a great week, and thanks for your comment! ~MiChelle Jeneen

Hi Val: I think so many people are hesitant to attend a local circle because they don't think they are musical or coordinated enough. When I invited a lady I met at a women's group to come along with me, she said "oh I have no rhythm." The beauty is, as long as you have a heartbeat, you're totally qualified to participate and benefit from the primal response to group empowerment drumming. Thanks so much for your input! ~MiChelle

Great observation, Eileen. Amazingly, in my research, I found that many doctors believe the aches and pains themselves are hypochondria and that fibromyalgia as a disease does not exist. Of the people I've known personnally to deal with the condition, without exception, they were all in fact dealing with very heavy emotional issues in their lives directly prior to onset of the painful symptoms. Clearly, more research is needed. I'm so glad people are open to the conversation.

Thank you Camille for your feedback. What you say is important. We all benefit from listening to that small voice inside as to making important decisions regarding our health and well-being. ~MiChelle Jeneen

Well, "me" that's a good point. It seems like a plan, a support network (business coach, mastermind group, networking club) can help...along with diligent education on how to run a business. I think alot of 30+ and 40-something women, are reawakening to our passion. But our lives seem already on a certain track. And the work needed to change tracks seems overwhelming at times. Each day I look for ways to use my passion inside of the paradigm of the life I'm already living. As I do so, the paycheck is beginning to follow.

I LOVE Jewish cooking...and food altogether. What I love about foods from each of our different ethnic groups is the love and history that goes into each dish. You (like my mom) share alot of love and passion through your cooking. Even your talk of cooking makes me hungry!

Thank you Donna. Dreams are little pieces of our soul...waiting to be watered, loved and harvested into full bloom. As we women watch time pass, I think many believe their ship has already sailed. I believe if there is air in your lungs, there's still time to bloom and dream big for yourself! Great post. ~MiChelle Jeneen

Research today shows you're exactly right. Women have spent decades taking care of the hearts of the men in our lives. Apparently, heart disease has snuck up on us! Fortunately, we are becoming more aware and self-empowered to look after ourselves and one another as well. Thanks for your comment, and here's to YOUR heart! ~MiChelle Jeneen
