Under a draft final rule that U.S. EPA sent to the White Office of Management and Budget for interagency review on April 30, 2010, the following source categories will now be included in the list of industrial sectors that are required to report their greenhouse gas emissions: industrial landfills, wastewater treatment facilities, underground coal mines, and magnesium production facilities.
