Your herb garden looks lovely Julie, I noticed that lovely lavender straight away, I have such a hard time growing it here and I do love it so. Your little peonies are so sweet too, like others have said....little happy faces, edible ones :-)

Your garden looks lovely sans snow :-) It still looks pretty 'brisk' as my dad would say, which to me always meant Freezing!! Sundays and PJ's are just brilliant aren't they! Enjoy the change in the seasons.

WOOL, WOOL AND MORE WOOL makes me happy. Thank you for reintroducing me to the delight of taking something as simple as yarn and making it into a three dimensional object. Truly magical. My weekly visit to your Blog also makes me happy, you are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the great work xx

You can try narrow garden beds with a mesh cage raised above the bed inside the chicken pen if there is enough light. These garden beds are great for root vegetables (sweet potato is a good choice) The chickens can climb onto the frame and eat the leaves that grow through and fertilize at the same time. I love the yard, it is such an inspiration. Well Done.
