Hi Mel! I drew the mask shape in the computer and printed it, then just attached it to the balloons with double stick tape. I am not sure if I still have the template, but will send it to you if I can find it. :)

Years ago I planted this Mexican Petunia by the front door. It's overgrown now, and kind of scraggly. It definitely doesn't add to the curb appeal. Many times I've considered ripping it out. Every morning, though, it puts out new... Continue reading

Hi Audrey! They came as a set at Target. At the time they had the best price on them. It was a few years ago, so I dont know if theyll still have them... I found them on the aisle with all the other construction toys. Hope that helps!

I was running low on energy and time at that point, so I just used a box cake mix and tub of white store bought frosting. (I knew she wouldnt judge. :) But the tub frosting was kind of thin and didnt really set, so the bees wanted to slide off. I would suggest making the buttercream since it would be easier to work with and you can control the consistency better.

I used the Wilton giant cupcake pan and carved it into a smooth dome shape after it was baked. For the icing color, I just kind of mixed in some brown and yellow food coloring until I got the color I wanted. It was fun to make - hope your party is a success!! :)

I used Lion Brand Cotton-Ease in lime, snow, and stone. Her pink bow was another random cotton I had in my stash. The hook size is G-6 (4 mm). I really love this cotton blend yarn!
