I think it's a gang marking thing. I think my son would have preferred having the assailant pee on his tires instead.

Fat is a state of mind, not a state of body. Remember what you put into the body is what powers the body, getting rid of the extra energy stores will burn some very untasty reserves. The reserves are a loose form of glycogen waiting to be burned. What's sitting in your tummy isn't what you burn at the muscles. If you starve the body thinks there is no food to be had and won't burn it's reserves, so don't starve. Your body needs to sense a pickup in activity level, then you can cut back on foods. then the body thinks your truly needing the reserves. Start the exercise, then start the diet, not the other way round. There are a lots of things that go into removing energy stores. But you can't get to the reserves unless the body thinks there is nowhere else to go. Start the exercise, then start the diet, but do not use a starvation diet. It's unhealthy for your brain and body in the short run.
