I would love to take a class. Have pondered the Towers and Turrets, but life has just been too hectic of late to fit anything extra in. Seems I'm barely ever home, although like you it is one of my most favorite places to be. I enjoy visiting your blog, although I'm not good to comment, sorry! I find your work amazingly beautiful and spiritually inspiring. Thanks for offering a giveaway. http://www.jillsjunktojewels.blogspot.com/

BTW, you have a beautiful daughter. Forgot to say that and also, you will probably find that you are entering the best years in your relationship with her. I am closer to both my dd's now than ever before, even when we are miles apart. I count them as my best friends.

You do live through it. It will hurt, but in a good way. I have 2 daughters, now 23 and 26. I found myself thinking when the oldest graduated high school in black and white. By that I mean, I was thinking of it as a goodbye. Like she was here, but then she'd be gone. For both my daughters it wasn't like that though. They both went to college, but they were back and forth a good bit, so that there was more of a transition with time to get more used to them not always being there. I've had them both marry in the same year within months of each other(wouldn't wish that on anybody, lol) and both move far away. The youngest we just moved to Texas last week. My oldest is back closer again and now expecting our first grandchild. So with the bittersweet sad times will come times of joy and we Moms cry through them all. Hhmm. I've always loved art. My parents always encouraged me, but I do remember having a traveling art instructor back in the sixties in first grade(you know back in the days when they thought it was important to teach about music and art in schools and there were people who went around to all the schools to teach these subjects). His name was Mr. Mann, but as a first grader I always thought we were calling him Mr. "Man", like he didn't have a name, lol. He taught us about perspective and how to draw based on shapes. I still have a lot of those drawings. I let myself get away from art almost entirely after I married and had children. After the girls were grown, I'm rediscovering the joy of art, but still need to get back to my original joy of drawing and painting.

The necklace is beautiful, as is Ms. Annabelle. She looks a lot like our cat, Bama. Jill http://www.jillsjunktojewels.blogspot.com/

These are all beautiful. I found your lovely blog from a link at Karla's Cottage and have now added it to my favorites. I'm about to head back to read previous posts. As for my favorite, hard to say, but if pressed to pick would say the one with the stacked buttons with the square one on bottom.
