Haha, yes, I was pulling some of my favourite quotes and that is one of yours that's on my list. Thought it was good to put it in, hoped it would encourage you. Looking forward to the new book!
If your inner voice is telling you that you can’t paint, by all means, hurry up and paint and silence the voice. Vincent Van Gogh I am a dreamer. Some men see things as they are and ask why; I dream of things that never were and ask, why not? George Bernard Shaw The best way to predict the future is to create it. Peter Drucker “No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.” Robin Williams “You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” Robin Williams Truly creative people are not connoisseurs who walk through the art galleries of the world, collecting the finest works, but those who involve themselves in the stuff of the world and make the best pictures. Eugene Peterson You miss 100 percent of the shots you do not take. Wayne Gretzky Live creatively, friends...Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourselves into that. Don't live vicariously. Each of us must take responsibility for doing the creative best we can with our own lives. Eugene Peterson When you innovate, you’ve got to be prepared for everyone telling you you’re nuts. – LarryEllison “That’s what storytellers do. We restore order with imagination. We instill hope – again and again.” Walt Disney “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein The glory of God is man fully alive. —Irenaeus, early Church Father (died c. 200) “Joy is the serious business of heaven.” C.S.Lewis "Please do not forget your talent. I am afraid the prose of your life may overcome the poetry of your soul." Alexander Pushkin, Aug 13, 1825 There¹s none like you, never has been nor shall there ever be. If we are pursuing our inner passion--even at a slow though steady pace--we are on our way to becoming the one-of-a-kind creation we were put here to be. Craig McNair Wilson “Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use.” Charles Schulz “Go on working freely and furiously, and you will make progress.” Paul Gauguin “I’m excited about the music. I play with integrity and I don’t compromise my vision I approach it from an artistic perspective.” Diana Krall You can't build a reputation on what you're GOING to do. Henry Ford A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do. Bob Dylan

I remember Uncle Art with a smile whenever I think of him. He was the uncle with 1000 stories. And as children we loved his stories. Whenever we were near him we'd climb up on his knee to hear a story or ask him to play with us. We wanted... Continue reading

E-newsletters are often just an excuse to email a flyer. "Here's Our Latest Special!" [along with graphics of balloons, confetti, smiling children, animals or families] Nothing wrong with that. People frequent businesses because of flyers. But they also ignore them by the millions. But it misses the power of E-newsletters.... Continue reading
