Christie -what a beautiful post - thanks for sharing with us. Just a year ago now we visited your Grandma with your parents, and too were fortunate enough to enloy your Grandma's wonderful culinary talents. It was great ,too, to see the home that your grandparents shared for so many years. They were always so gracious to us. You truly are blessed with a rich heritage.
Beautiful photos-beautiful kids!

You and your family have had the most amazing experiences while down under! When you're thru with Aust., where are you off to next?!!
And a Happy Mother's Day to you too! Our family is going to a nice little restaurant in Perth, called Fiddleheads, for a Mother's Day brunch, after church.Fall looks beautiful in Melbourne.

Christie - this post is so cute. I hope you and the kids retain these new words and pronuciations Perhaps you should use a tape recorder and get some of them down by the true Aussies, so that you will always have them.

Wow ! Could you come and stay with us for a week or so Joe? Imagine all the repairs you could do for me that somehow just don't seem to get done around here ! Great post- Christy has taught you very good writing skills !
This is a great post ! Thanks for including such wonderful pictures ! We are so glad your grandmother was able to make it, and is enjoying herself so much! Love to the kids, et al.
Wow ! What a way to welcome your parents and grandma! They certainly will have lots of memories ! Glad to see they made it safely, and could even smile amidst their tiredness and unexpected activity ! Give them our love. (That t-shirt is so cute,BTW )
VERY interesting !!
Christie - your neighborhood is indeed beautiful. And to think, your Mom , Dad. and Grandma are soon going to be able to enjoy it with you. I'm SO jealous !
Christie - thanks once again for your wonderful blog, though how you had the energy to do this I haven't quite figured out. The pictures in the cockpit show you all looking surprisingly bright eyed and happy, in spite of a very long flight. Glad to hear you're "back home" safely. (Thanks, too, for that great picture of all the cousins. Sweet !)

Thanks Christie for all the darling pictures, including the one of my little brother! It looks like the kids are having a ball. I'm glad they have had the "snow" experience while they are in Ohio. Your camera takes great pictures. Lots of fun using it I'm sure. Bob said another thing that works great for sliding down snowy hills are those plastic discs - at least they work the best for our kids. Have fun, and have a wonderful Christmas.

Great to see some good old Ohio winter pictures ! Looks like the kids are really enjoying the snow, even the shovelling . And, that pie ! Must have been one of Grandma Roosinck's. You're one lucky family! Tell Andy and Linsey that Lea is beautiful. Have a wonderful Christmas.
