Thanks and my new blog
first thank you for all you who email me and ask me what my new blog is or just to say hi and to see how things are going, you are so sweet! my new blog is blessings and blossoms and there were several reasons to make a change, I can't stand the thought of losing everything on here but since I have been making some changes in my life, both my doing and some not my doing, I thought it was a good time to start fresh, plus typepad charges a fee and blogger is free, which you know... oh Tasha! we are meant to be friends!
First, I am so happy for you to have such a great handful of babies :)and Ava is just precious!!!
Second, I can relate to your panic/anxiety attacks, I know what it feels like to feel like you are suffocating and freak out! I had a TIA (a mini stroke) 3 years ago this month, and I developed those breathing issues, I *KNOW* you understand because how you worded what you wrote, no one really *gets* my breathing issues, I was also like you, not wanting to take anything, I thought it was being weak submitting to those drugs, after seeing my cardiologist and him convincing me to try them just temporarily, I did, and they worked, It has taken me almost 2 1/2 - 3 years to work through those breathing scares and I do so much better now, do I take those pills every once in a great while? I sure do, and I still have a few pills *just in case* but overall I am doing really good.
HUGS to you sweetie!
(I guess I should have just emailed you regarding this! LOL)
my little dream come true
As terrible as it may sound, when I started having babies, I always wanted a girl. Although each ultrasound that revealed a boy got more and more difficult, I still absolutely adored by baby boys. Over the years, I grew very proud to be a mother of 4 boys. They simply melt my heart. But ...

Oh I love that quilt, hmmm I have some of that fabric, maybe I should do one!
Yes, dreaming is good, I will send some warmth your way :)
using what i've got
Isn't it ridiculous how that is a novel idea? As if it is a new idea to use what you have rather than buying something new? That is one benefit of our country's financial woes, if you ask me. We have to evaluate purchases and check what we have on hand first. I made my Darla quilt a while ...
Praise God!!!
YAY! I am so relieved! good news from my doctor! my second tissue (big chunk of skin) removal from my shoulder came back clear and free of cancer cells! I go in next week and have my stitches removed and they do a complete body check, that should be real fun...NOT lol and now I just go in every 6 months for those lovely body checks. I am so happy and feel so blessed. Thank you to those of you who were praying for me, you and I know who you are and I appreciate you lots! I want to... Continue reading

I need to take time to scrapbook more too, although I doubt I will be doing digital, even though Libby produces beautiful elements, I am just not patient enough to learn :)
now I am off to go rent Julie and Julia :)
Hugs!
Hello 2010!!
I was going to give up blogging in 2010, but seeing the movie, Julie and Julia inspired me to keep going. No, I'm not going to blog my way through Julia Child's cookbook, but it did spark an interest in Julia. So much so that I am currently reading her book, My Life in France, the story abou...

hmmm! now I might have to make a quick trip to see if my store has any of those aqua boxes! I LOVE the box your mother made!
some goodies!
As I ran in to JoAnn's for a couple little things last week, there was this ONE AQUA BOX for $2.99 with my name on it...well, I saw my name on it, so it was mine. I didn't know what I would use it for but it was too cute to pass up. It sat on a shelf for just a few short days until I came up w...

I completly agree that prayer works and God iswonderful :) I will be praying. Hugs on her family. I can't even imagine what they are going though :(
prayer request
I have been debating whether or not to post this here. There is a fine line between helping someone and invading their privacy, you know? At this point, all of this information is public knowledge and I think the time is right to ask for some prayer. One of my closest friends has a sister who ...
I can't wait to get started! I like the names "Road to Spring" or "Fresh Squeeze Along"
Thank you!
let's talk about a quilt-a-long
I am officially done cutting the squares for my quilt. I expected to be farther ahead by now, but that's OK. The sewing machine has been making an appearance at the kitchen table during school time so I WILL get done on time. Really, I will! :) First off, what is a quilt-a-long? Well, my ...

too many choices
I have to admit that even the cereal isle is overwhelming for me. I mean, how many cereals do we really need to choose from? Raisin Bran? Between all of the different brands, there are about 6 to choose from. Which one is best? My choice is usually the cheap one and then I move up from the...
