Another lovely collection by Maggie Holmes. I especially love the chipboard pieces and the word / phrase labels.

Yep, you read that right, I've just made a Halloween mini-album in March. It's an idea I've had in my head for ages and I even bought the supplies last year with the intention of making this last October. Now, nearly six months later it's made and I really love it. The main collection used is After Dark by Crate... Continue reading

Last year I made a sweet little 1 to 10 birthday album for my youngest son who had just turned 10 and shared my project in my August creative team blog post for Hey Little Magpie. I had intentions of making my 12 year old son one as well, in order to keep things fair. However, time passed and it... Continue reading

As you may have seen I was featured on the 12pm Sunday challenge over at Shimelle.com 'An Adventurous Colour Story'. I made a travel layout and explained why I'd chosen to use certain colours, Shimelle then shared a layout of her own which had incorporated those colours and set the challenge to scrap a layout using the five main colours... Great layout, thanks for taking part in the challenge! As I looked closely at it I recognised it was Bournemouth beach, my closest beach. I love it there and luckily it's only 20 minutes drive away for me.

Last week Ali Edwards announced that the Week in the Life project would be running in early May this year and that the 2016 kit was available to pre-order. Week in the Life is a project run over the course of a week recording the details of the everyday life in photos and words. Then, depending on your chosen method... Continue reading

A little while a go I was tagged on social media by a fellow Hey Little Magpie creative team member to share a favourite scrapbooking project or layout from 2015, one a day for a week. I thought it would be a nice to list them here too. Day 1. I chose this layout 'Fly', originally shared on the Hey... Continue reading

These are beautiful, thank you! I'm sharing my DD album on a UK scrapbook store blog Hey Little Magpie. Would you mind if I showed your calendar within my album? I would of course give you credit, if you don't mind. Thanks Jo

Oh my goodness. You are going to bankrupt me with these gorgeous lines!! Wow, love absolutely everything about this collection, how can I pick a single item? I'll say chipboard pieces, but seriously it's the whole lot!
Oh my goodness, it's hard to narrow it down. But if I had to chose one with my arm twisted behind my back I'd say the word stickers.
Love, love, love this!!
I am in awe of what you have been achieving these past few years, that's some going! I absolutely love your Crate Paper line and am thrilled that is will be continuing to grow. Wishing you and your expanding family all the very best for the future xx

Still loving this project and already thinking about next years album! But for now I've got weeks 45 and 46 to share with you. For week 45 I used patterned paper by My Minds Eye and mixed that with the Seafoam Edition paper and core kit and some inserts from the Midnight Edition. As always I've used my favourite little... I've been working with a magazine called Get Stamping since it's first issue was released early this year. It's a stamping magazine (obviously!) and each issue comes with a set of stamps. It's on sale every 8 weeks. I produce four layouts for each issue using the stamp set that will come with the magazine. And write about the techniques... Continue reading
