My favorite books as a child were the box car children series! I loved reading about those children. The other series I loved were the Judy Blume books.

I love Pinterest, to save all my favorite things! However, I find from time to time I save things in my email and on my hard drive for lack of knowledge how to get the items to Pinterest! I love searching pinterest for fresh ideas! Also, I am subscribed to many blogs and I love trying to stay on top of them all.

I have a photo of my daughter and husband. He is holding her at the fireworks show when she was about 2. You can see the adoration in his eyes as he watches her watch the fireworks in amazement.
My first memory that comes to mind is having the chicken pox over christmas vacation!

We would ride our bikes...to the next town over, to my grandmothers house without adults. We loved the chance to go to the town pool and jump off the high dive over and over. The town whistle...when I would stay with my friend who lived in the center of town, the town whistle would blow at 8:50 and all of us kids had to be in off the street at that time. Putting pennies on the train tracks before the train got there and then after the train went by, going and retrieving the pennies. Riding the mini bike through the field.

1. The playground was where we played tag after lunch time. Usually the boys trying to tag the girls. 2. We had a huge swingset we would all see how high we could go and then jump off. 3. We always played jump rope - and sometimes double rope with the long ropes - so much fun! 4. Everyone would try to get on the monkey bars - we would do the bars and also the sides - usually several people on them at a time.

I have canned over the last few years with my grandmother. She taught me how to make and can brown pickles - or as we call them - tongue pickles. They are SOOO yummy! I have canned green beans, bread and butter pickles, and tomatoes with her. We have made jam and jelly together as well. I have lots of pickling pictures to scrapbook some day!
