Let me speak for just about everybody ... we don't believe that for a moment. But to be fair I don't know if anyone would have been able to respond in real time. It was be all accounts a really embarrassing moment of clarity of message and receipt thereof by the Rethuglican power structure all in attendance that night. This wasn't random people, random people don't get into their events as we know from the past.
It's what they do, it's who they are. Your contribution is dismissed if you don't look and act and pray just like they do. They aren't Americans first, they are first part of a clique of rich white people who claim to believe in God but then establish religious hierarchies that pervert that belief by using it as a weapon against those who don't sync up with them.
Okay, I'm done.
Santorum Claims He Didn't Hear Gay Soldier Booed at GOP Debate
Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum appears to have paused as boos echoed throughout Thursday night Republican debate following a question from a gay soldier serving in Iraq ... But Santorum now says he did not hear the jeers. The right-wing former Pennsylvania senator told FOX News...
Just keep this woman talking, about anything. Everything that comes out of her mouth makes her less electable. I hope there's a Democratic operative out there getting footage of all this stuff.
VIDEO: Cory Booker on Bachmann's "Joke" About Hurricane Irene
Newark Mayor Cory Booker appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight to respond to the ridiculous claims by Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann that Hurricane Irene was a sign for "politicians" to "listen" to God. "For anyone human being to think they know what God is thinking is tre...

I thought about that as I was writing this.
Of course the blogs will be different in that you're clever and I'm a vulgar lounge comedian.
And I'll probably find reason almost daily to post some picture of Rupert Penry-Jones. He's on a train. He's holding a tampon. He's ringing the closing bell at the stock exchange.
Tampons are a thing in England, right? Wasn't that whole Prince Charles thing with Camilla just the tip of the iceberg?
See? Vulgar lounge comedian.
Whatever I'm doing, it's being done so I can dump this behemoth of a digital enterprise that requires much more upkeep than many would imagine, but then Rob you know about that.
I never thought of you as only covering US television, though. All those Sitting Tennants and French BBC imports and Joanna Page stuff.
The Story Behind Changing My Name on Twitter and Plans for the Future
Here's the quick and dirty version ... I had not written anything on this blog over a week. My Twitter handle used to be @ThatTVBlogger. Having not blogged for a bit that was a lie. So I changed it to something truthful, @JoeWatchesTV, which I've been doing with the usual regularity (there are...

I didn't see any apology in the usual locations (and you know how ridiculous I think that whole process is anyway).
He did have John Waters on not long after that whole dustup and they talked about it briefly, and Craig did make a comment about the show being a nonjudgmental space, as he does from time to time.
Tracy Morgan and a Notch Too Far: Why He's Apologizing For the Wrong Thing
This is not Tracy Morgan speaking with his image consultant. Or is it? Nah, the pic comes from the movie Cop Out, which isn't such a bad film, btw, considering it got one star. Tracy, Bruce Willis and Seann William Scott directed by Kevin Smith, some solid laughs though possibly not the most s...

Oh Rob. I liked it. It's summertime and it's light entertainment.
It's reasonably funny. Big? I want my portions big but this show doesn't need to be.
And I'm clever enough the lot of them. Maybe I'm just making better jokes than they are and laughing at myself?
Huh?
I liked it. Even without Gosselaar's ass I liked it.
He does have a fine ass, however.
