I love your honesty " I hate it" and you raised a very important point. Living in the Philippines for 19 years and then 6 years here in the U.S I saw how comfortable I have become and later on became less and less concerned about anything outside me. When you are surrounded by problems bigger than "how can I buy this house" I learned to appreciate life more and be more concerned for others situations.
