OMG! what the heck man! people are disparately smearing RAM pickups at any ridiculous way possible and I do mean ridiculous! It was nothing less than quick sand out there GEEZ!!! put any other pickup out in those conditions the same things gonna happen! DUH! another PR stunt from paid off media what else is new? LOL RAM will match the 2014 chevy's MPG rating that explains the random RAM bashing campaign.

"True class in the most reliable truck you can buy. Eat your hearts out Ford and Dodge boys. Next up is the 2014 trucks with more power then Ford or Dodge and the well known reliability and low cost of owning the best truck available to the public. Do yourselves a favor Ford and Dodge boys, buy a real truck and become a man." @Greg sliverado will be a solid pickup truck but not a bread winner! It's engine line is basically a sproosted up verison of the poorly designed GMT-800 vortec...with that said chevy has to market the 6.2 v8 like RAM markets Hemi because they can't come up with any better design at this point to compete in the 5.0 liter v8 segment! remember the 6.2 only produces 403hp under current GM vortec. RAM produces 395hp with a smaller displacement (5.7 liter) & FOrd actually has the technology to kick RAM in the ass if they took more influence from the mustang & put it into the 5.4 liter again. Ford would simply be unstopable in the 5.0 liter segment for sure & I'm a RAM owner myself.
This truck looks great! compared to the new ones! I luv' my 2012 RAM 1500 that Hemi reminds so much of my dads ol' 91' c-1500 w/ that iconic 350 v8 rumble sound there's nothing more satisfiying knowing you've got a real performer lol just ask all the scared off bums in my neighborhood that back off my tail when they hear that biotch roar like a nascar!!! tow/haul: on traction control: off hehe....
@snowman, your an idot you dumba** twat GOD FOR BIT America still does something freemarket & a smaller company at that!!!! It's communists like yourself that have no real roots in this country who just go along with any new trendy GOV take over I hope EPA gets slashed from their throne!!! since when do Americans give a sh** what some useless stalinist from the EPA says is ok CAFE standards lol thats so lame!!! I'm so sick of the GOV giving taxpayer subsidies to these big corps & then play this media game like ppl actually care about the enviroment like ALGORE cares lol United Nations lol they just kill ppl & call it peace....whateva this country's gone...@snownman, bend over for the EPA like their buddies TSA I'm sure you'll enjoy soviet hospitality!
There is definitely some of the RAM influence here but that's OK because each pickup manufacturer brings something a little different to the table in addition, to being influenced by some of their contemporaries...Of course, this is a concept design so we all can agree this wouldn't be the finished redesign but, gives an idea of where they likely are to go from here! GM better have hot cards in their deck for their refresh because, if not Ford & RAM are about to determine their fate in this epic battle of the pickup truck segment..whether GM loyalists like it or not RAM can always take their place at this rate of below par engineering..let's face it there is no advantage of owning a GM product anymore it use to be that GM had all the hp & muscle in the their cars & trucks now there aging dinosaurs about to become extinct...
I think it will be an intersting battle brewing among the pickup sector....GM hasn't shown their full hand of cards even though I'm unimpressed with their latest format still if they fixed a few minor things like fender bulging & proportioned the front end of the truck to flow better with the rest of their design It actually wouldn't look far from a home run...I have left chevrolet for RAM because the Hemi's have alot in common the old style 350ci V8's obviously the Hemi= 3.45ci & chevy= 350ci...also, the handling is much more remenicent of older pickups in general a more heavier feel solid ride...very intersting to find out what RAM improved on with GM's vintage 3 linked-coil rear suspension VS. RAM's 5 linked muilti-coil rear suspension. I also, am paying attention to FORD's 5.0 but, its displacement is much smaller at 302ci if FORD would go for more ci they would probably blow Hemi's away with an even more updated 5.0...the 2014 chevy's I hope at least have something interesting under the hood! for godsakes at least live up to the reliablilty category!!!

I think GM's Sliverado is gonna become unsellable like the camaro in the early 2000's did and, until they come back with a better pickup truck programme like camaro this current design will simply not cut it! I'm sure the GOV has all to do with lack of materials usage & lack of creativity here!!! It's time for Big brother to F*** off!!! leave our damn trucks alone!!!!!
I really don't dislike their design it's not the best I've seen but it won't leave competition high & dry. Certainly, continuous vvt direct injection isn't a laughing matter but, those engines are a concern because a v8 that produces too much back pressure like the current vortecs are a poor poor design indeed! even though you could modifiy it with time on your own...still their attempt to silence a v8 is pretty stupid & creates too much resistance with their exhaust manifolds & cylinder engineering. RAM is a prime example of a (HEMI)bigger block v8 better designed little or no back pressure resulting in way better hwy mpg not basing off EPA ha there probably paid off why not their the idots lobbying for more regulations...However, the GMT-400 vortec's were a modern marvel very well engineered & continue to stand the test of time! Fords well test drove ecoboost & 5.0 before buying my 2012 RAM wasn't that impressed had simlar flaws as GM vortec's but, the 6.2 Liter v8 ford has is much more on par that should be their goal!!! selling only a ecooboost and 6.2 liter v8 that would be cool!!! GM well they better dig deep that's all I can say...
wat can I say from a child born & raised in a chevrolet but, GM has seemlessly had relatively no competition from ford or dodge, in the 70's thru early 00's & then ram started to catch up with their 02's then ford took off with their 04's and before you know it GM was just another pickup...basically GM knew they designed probably one of the greatest automobile's in history with their GMT-400..so, they lol have kept trying to re-live that day ever since & now it's just an outdated dinosour...GM doesn't need to diet rather they need to go to rehab like the has been rock star's they are...they need to re-invent themselves without re-inventing themselves like ram geez talk about cumback...ford well I liked my 95' f-150 it was cool they really are boring outerwise not technologly wise...gov motors now lol wow!! shows how far gone society is lol & we wonder why things are fudged up... state runned companies dnt work & make ppl poor & more dependent duh!!!!!!!!!!!think how those poor ppl working 4 GM are paying themselves with their own tax money lol isn't that called slavery.....
