Trying to keep up with working on my two stitch book kits I ordered from Charlotte Lyons and Jenn McGlon........I have done a lot of hand stitching and decided that it wouldn't hurt to do some of it by machine.....even though it's slow stitching sometimes you just need to stitch the pages together by machine.......and so that is what I did.........there is still so much to do on each page but at least now I have everything pinned down and now the fun part is adding as I go. Ribbon, scraps of fabric , buttons, embroidery stitches and whatever fits... Continue reading

Thanks a lot Nan but just kidding it's been so much fun all at the same time. I just ordered the wool DMC and I will give it a try with the punch needle and let you know how it works out. I'm hoping it's not too fat but we will see.... Continue reading

Just a little bit of stitching going on last night.......these gals made some of the cutest needle/pin books! Something everyone needs when you travel to keep all those things in one area and something flat enough you can pack easily. They created the front cover with the hearts then embellished them with ribbon, yarn, buttons, beads and whatever they could to make them a little more fun. Thanks girls. And poor Robn had a little accident with her dog so she wasn't able to get hers done but we enjoyed having her here anyway. On another note....... look at this... Continue reading
