I'm here hoping that his off-balance and non-symmetrical responses are just his "normal" midline coordination stuff. Like...aren't throats always red? But how red? Too bad we never do these tests when they are well. As a hypochondriac and paranoid, anxious sort, I tend to get to the doctor quick...and often regret it for the reasons you mention. Best of luck balancing the urgency and the lack of urgency.

Thank God I live near you or I'd be pestering you for an "after" of the renovation ;). Luckily I've seen it in all it's glory!! I'll miss you here, even though I get the real deal....

I'd go BB or CS. I like that they seem to have slightly more contrast. Next can I hire you to obsess about our colors. Actually I think I'm just going to let the designer pick all of them and then hate her choices later...better than obsessing for hours and then hating *my* choices later...or worse yet, letting Ryan choose and hating his choices! Thanks for the reno update ;), you know I love seeing the progress.

I thought you said the naps were extending wonderfully when we talked the other day...?? Sleep is a mystery. I mean, even as an adult I find that some months I'm sleeping great and others are much insomnia laden...a whole life of sleep confusion is probably in store for my kiddos sadly.

Luckily they only nap for a few years. And you only obsess with the first, so you're nearly done with nap madness. Hooray ;)

Workout? Am I the only one that's disturbed/impressed/fascinated by the fact that you're working out? No wonder you look so great!! If you figure out the trick to rage, let me know. The baby doesn't get me fired up very often, but the toddler is kicking my mental ass ;)

Very nice! You and Zack look so calm and patient -- though no one could be more chilled out than the midwife, eh? Very impressive show.

And to think you once worried that your belly wasn't big enough. You definitely have a baby in there! The one in the washing machine on your sidebar is looking scrawny...not filling out like yours!

I want two guesses. An early one and a late one :) My first instinct was Sept 20th, 7 pounds and a little change. Otherwise, I say October 2nd (my birthday) and 8 pounds.

Grrl: She was great. If you can find her old posts somehow in the cached internet then they are worth a read. She ended up having a surrogate (a close friend, I believe) carry her child. She closed her blog shortly after her baby was born. The "just relax" post was classic though!
1 reply would have LOVED the "just relax" post on the original infertility blog that spawned a 100 other great ones...unfortunately she took down her blog (people stole her writing and claimed it was their own and tried to publish it in various magazines and such without her consent -- granted her writing was hilarious and amazing and deserved a wider audience, but stealing it really pissed her off as you could imagine!!) Just relax! Total bunk. Whatever?! My friend E who did IVF for her first child hates the "just relax" thing too. She got pregnant without IVF with her second child and everyone says "see, you just needed to relax"...she's all 'ummm...who says I'm more relaxed now, plus there are actual medical reasons why it's easier to get pregnant naturally after a successful IVF'. But no one listens. Another favorite: I knew this couple that decided to adopt and that very month they got pregnant and didn't need to adopt after all. Grrrr....
