That sunset/rise is worth staying a while! :)...very much agree with what Cindy said. To quote my mom, "There's (is that a word?) advantages and disadvantages to everything! :)'s pretty much a hard knock life right now wherever you are...but there are advantages to wherever you are.

How did I completely miss this blog?!!!!! An ENTIRE food blog! I'm just now seeing it! This all looks absolutely WONDERFUL! Well, except the fish:) I'm not a big fan of fish in the first place, I do eat it, but after your description, that would have been enough for me to leave it on the plate too:) Again, thanks for sharing!

I SO get that Mandy. I do marvel at the unending supply of flavors! And BTW, I had NO idea you could freeze avocado! Right now, here they are $2 each. Every now and then I treat myself, but now that I know you can freeze avocado, I will stock up in season and not have to ever pay $2 or more for one!:)...and it's one of the healthiest foods you can possibly eat!

YUM! I got a purple sweet potato once at whole foods and just baked it like an orange sweet potato. It tasted pretty much like a sweet potato to me. I think it may have been a little dryer. It was good...but I LOVE sweet potatos...especially with a little coconut oil. You have given me a good idea with the coconut milk now. I haven't seen them since then though.

Ok so I commented on the last post before reading this one. Pictures can be deceiving aye? I think I have an inkling of understanding of what you are talking about. When I lived in Columbia SC I discovered that I am DEFINITELY a country girl. The traffic, the noise the close quarters...all got to me...BUT...that is not why I left. I met a lot of people that had great influence, positive influence, in my life and had good life experience there. It was even good that I lived for a time among the traffic, noise and close quarters (not to mention several other very trying circumstances). I grew a lot in Columbia. I honestly don't know how long I would have stayed had I not gotten sick. But at the time I was too sick to stay alone. Just before I got really sick I was actually working toward settling in...getting a place of my own and such. (I had always lived with someone else) My mom says, "Life is a trade off" and "There are advantages and disadvantages to everything." I am writing this not to discourage you at all...just to say I think I a degree anyway...and hope you find peace.;) Re: the quote, "The trick is finding the simple truths that are hidden in the conflicted confusion."...the truth will set you free! :)

You know, I recently read an article about some kind of streets or metal poles in the streets or something like that deteriorating from spit in India! Who knew? I think it also mentioned that it was from people who chew things like tobacco and betel nut...but that has got to be a lot o spit!

Isn't is interesting that one type of music that so many love can be almost nerve grating to others? But like my mom says about food, there is so much variety of good nutritious food that we don't have to like everything.:) I hope that applies to my taste in music too.:)
