Are you using the trace feature on the black cut template? I typically open the template up in a separate file, then go ahead and trace it there. Then delete the black portion so I am only left with the trace/ cut lines. Then I copy it and paste it directly over the print file.

It's just about June and I am in 'getting down to business' mode as far as working on my checklist of things I need to finish before baby # 4 comes NEXT MONTH. I can't even grasp this yet. Sometimes I find myself thinking of scenerios of having four, well...particularly three smaller ones an...

That’s odd...I’m not sure. I just traced these out and cut them over the weekend and as far as I know I have the latest version and didn’t have any trouble.
Label Series | Gray
Gray? Grey? I actually prefer the spelling with the 'E' but here in the U.S. we use the 'A' so I went with that. Many years ago, when we first moved into our house, my husband and I made a plan to paint every wall before moving everything in. I knew, right away I wanted to paint many of our wa...

I don't know that there is a trick but I made sure both sets are scaled the same but if you've already done that and it's not working still you can select the 'traced images' and go to Object> release compound path and that will ungroup all of the tracing lines so you can move them individually.

That's so great, Denise! I love the closeness in age that my youngest two have and so I am excited that there will be one more!
It's so much fun when they start playing together. It took a while for my youngest two to be able to play together (they are 4 and almost 2 now) but now they are great buddies- just like you said!
I am still a little nervous about my youngest adapting to another sibling, because she is such a glue stick to me. But she has gotten better recently about going to her dad or my oldest for comfort which gives me hope ;)
Hello Baby #4!
I've posted this on Instagram, but we are expecting baby #4 here in July! We are all so excited and surprised it's a boy! Jude kept telling us it was a girl so we kinda got it in our head that it would be a girl. But the first image that showed up on the ultrasound monitor screamed boy...so mu...
Great idea! Glad you found something that worked for you.
I just put up a new label and with that one I added a 'blank' solid black version specifically made for just using the trace function. The blank version can be used to trace and then copied and pasted over the print files so it takes out the work of adjusting the different trace values. Let me know if you try it and how it works for you!
I'm so glad you like them and are able to use them!

I dropped the ball last week and didn't put a new label sheet up. Justin had taken some time off work and was working on our laundry room (which is coming together nicely!) and our garden and I was helping or working on other design projects. Then this Monday came around and Typepad wasn't wor...

Hi Denise! I'm not sure- are you referring to the black ones or the multicolor February ones? I haven't had any trouble cutting either one out so I am not sure.
There was an issue on the black ones being downloaded but it was a problem with the file name not being read by Windows. Other than that I haven't heard from anyone that they have had problems with any of them.
All of the files are the same (just color changes) so if you are having an issue with a particular one you might be able to just copy the trace layer from another and place it right over the top of the one you are having issues with. They should line up perfect as long as the scaling is the same.

What has worked for me is making sure I have the lid open on my silhouette and good lighting. I actually have a desk lamp that I bring over and shine directly over the blade area and that is when I have the best results.
Also having my machine on a flat surface...and make sure when you are placing the registration marks on your page that the overlapping gray grid lines don't cover any area of the design or adjust the registration mark settings (you may have scale down the design- I usually scale it down by 95%)
Occasionally if I have trouble I have restarted my machine and the silhouette software, but usually any issue I have with registration marks comes from poor lighting into the machine.
I hope that helps!
Print & Cut Series | Turquoise
Here we go with the second print & cut label! I decided on turquoise because when I looked at what is out there right now, as far as scrapbooking products and maybe even some home decor, it seems turquoise is a common color that should get a lot of use. This turquoise leans on the more blue si...
