As I mentioned in an earlier post, Jump, I signed up for The Great Discontent's #the100dayproject - committing myself to play with watercolors for, well…100 days. I even set myself up with a playfull hashtag: #100daysofWCplay, using the initials WC... Continue reading

Julie, it was sooooo wonderful to see you on video - like sitting across from you as you talked about favorite books! I'm going to look for all 3 of your recommendations - can't believe I haven't read any of them. Thanks for this! Two books about writing (and for writers - but also any creative person) that blow my mind every time I read them are: The Writing Life by Annie Dillard, and Zen in the Art of Writing, by Ray Bradbury.
I'm ready to jump in! Well, it's a bit cold to jump into Lake Luxembourg (pictured above), plus you're not actually allowed to swim there, so I probably wouldn't jump in even if the temps were higher, but I'm ready... Continue reading

You know that feeling you get when, in the dark of winter, you ride by a home with a light in the window? It's a kind of tender, sweet/sad, feeling - and, for me, an antidote to the groundedlessness and... Continue reading

I haven't shared book lists in a long time - and haven't done many reviews in the past couple/few years either… so you might not know that I love books, but I do! Books were my best friends when I... Continue reading
