Facebook in Iraq 2
Facebook is the number one social networking site throughout the world. This is mostly due to its ever expanding languages that the social networking site comes with. Facebook now comes with over 100 languages. The Facebook staff claims they will not stop there, they want to try and reach ever corner of the Earth. What does this have to do with Iraq? For a long time Facebook did not come with Arabic, the most used language in Iraq. Arabic was not an easy language to translate, claims Jessica Lee a writer for www.insidefacebook.com. Facebook in Iraq
Social networks have been spreading and taking over the world. They have most impacted Egypt and Tunisia where social networks have not only helped start a revolt against the government, but have kept the revolution alive as well. People of Iraq were not big users of Facebook in the year of 2008. In the year 2009, however, Iraq has seen a huge jump of Facebook users. Google in China, Yesterday and Today

Blogging a Crime in Egypt?
Voltaire once said: “Press works on the demolition of the old world so that it can establish a new one.” Most countries have understood the importance of the press, some all too well. Countries like Egypt understand the importance of the press, and therefore try to control it. There are many accounts and reports of the Egyptian government trying and even succeeding in trying to control the government. The Arab Press Network couldn’t have said it better about Egyptian Journalists. They state: “The Egyptian journalist - mainly of some private newspapers - has turned to produce the event rather than... Continue reading

In Egypt there is a continuing revolt that is going on against their president, Hosni Mubarak. This is following the revolt in that happened last month in Tunisia. The Egyption government has been taking actions to stop the revolution.
