I have found myself at a loss what to write on this blog recently. There are so many wondeful blogs out there sharing general journaling ideas or gorgeous art journal pages and I felt my little space was redundant and considered giving it up. But something is keeping me going... Continue reading

...but Mr Light is using my leg as a mousemat! We are spending the weekend visiting my mum and are squished on the sofa watching a film. My poor mum is going through some tough times and I often feel helpless so this is one of those times my journal... Continue reading

Just a quick note to say thanks for comments, tweets and emails! I am at my dear mums to pick her up ready to come to ours at Christmas so I haven't got access to the 'proper' Internet:) I will be back tomorrow with the first journal book taster! Continue reading

Inspired my earlier Teaser Tuesday post I sat thinking about all the wonderful gems I could tease you with from my journal focused books. Whilst reading journal orientated books I often have my journal sat next to me and I simply jot down quotes and thoughts as I am reading.... Continue reading

The M.C. Beaton books I find a bit hit and miss, some I like and some I don't really ever get into much. I have #6 on my shelves for years and I think if I don't read it in 2011 I will pass it on. I don't know why I never pick it up. And thanks for the luck!
Mel I am really enjoying it! Jenny...that I shall not reveal;)

Thanks Jamie!
lol Mel, I want to try and use my Library more this year but my problem is getting them back on time. They are never open when I am able to take them back lol!
That would be great Mel, it is a great way to get down the TBR pile and find out about some more books!

Thanks Mel, I wasn't happy with the last one! Glad you both liked #12, I might bump that up the pile! Whitney I hope when you read them that you will enjoy them! Looking forward to February too, thanks for setting it up.
lol! Luckily it is all books I have on the shelves and it is a way to get my TBR piles down! One of the reasons we moved in the summer is that we were running out of space for my books and now it is happening again:) Challenges are fun ways to get the number down and the ones I have chosen shouldn't be too hard to complete. Now if you see me sign up to any more feel free to tell me off!

New Author Challenge Literary Escapism is holding a New Author Challenge for 2011 and this seemed a great way to get myself away from reading books by the same old authors. "The idea behind this is to find new authors that you’ve never tried before. They can be in your... Continue reading
