www.bookdepository.co.uk got a copy to me here in New Hampshire in less than a week, discounted and with free shipping. (Note that this is their UK site, not the US .com) They're a great source, by the way, for those impatient for British books to be republished in the States. Now all I need is to figure out how to stop time so that I can read it....

Me, no way. It's in the house here in New Hampshire, because of English husband, who has tried, unsuccessfully, to convert the children. On the other hand, he can't abide peanut butter....

Aren't you lucky to have that daphne in your garden! I agree, the scent is fabulous.

The new snow is actually very pretty - with the only flaw being that it's March. Nice to know you're still out there - Kelly

Happy New Year, Karen, and welcome to your new bookroom! I'm juggling as usual: John Masefield's The Box of Delights, a small set of gardening books for a review, and peeking into whatever falls into my hand as I've been emptying bookshelves (we're painting...)

Thanks, Scott. The lamppost in the snow reminded me of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Another vote for Lincoln the Writer, from snowy New Hampshire. And, not quite a book, but if it were available in a US compatible DVD, Lost in Austen -- discovered thanks to Stuck-in-a-Book Simon (http://www.stuck-in-a-book.blogspot.com/). (Thank you, Simon!). It's on Youtube in bits and pieces... Liking the threaded comments very much, Karen.
