Hi Pam: It's been a few hours since you commented and hope you still have electricity and are safe and dry! Yes, it has been a while since the last bag pattern. I'm going to try to make a few this year. They'll probably never be BIG bags, but it is on my radar to make more bag patterns. This pattern comes out on Tuesday. I used to fiddle around with these too, Patty. But then I was trying to match the stripes on a print with several different colored stripes printed on the diagonal. I couldn't quite make it work! So basically, I HAD to figure out a more reliable method. The tape was added in later after having to cut apart and re-sew many, many binding strips because the fabric would shift slightly and the stripes would end up way off. :0[ Anyway, hope all is well with you and your family!
