Just saw Avatar for the fifth time, the first in IMAX. I still love it so much, it's such a great film. The 3D was still a little wonky in scenes with a lot of movement, but it was MUCH better than RealD 3D. I can't wait until the film comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray because yeah, I still can't really get enough of it. :) Continue reading

Mmmm, more jujube eyes! NOM NOM NOM!!
I think they will likely relocate to another Hometree, as it is speculated that there are many across Pandora. If there is another nearby Hometree that is not occupied by another tribe, I can see them going there.
I think Avatar is on the leading edge of creating a new "generation" of films. Because of the technology available, it is becoming possible to do more and more amazing things with film, and I don't think that Avatar will be the only spectacle film. People are drawn to Avatar because it is attractive and immersive and very well put together. It may be the first, arguably second (after Lord of the Rings), series of films to attract such a wide audience, but I have a feeling we will be seeing more films like this come out, and as theatre technology gets better, people will want to go for that experience.
