There's nothing like a good book!
A Huge part of what I do is submit projects to publications in hopes that they will be published. This really helps the companies I work with showcase their cool products and from a consumers perspective I LOVE when I am enabled! It takes a really patient person to be an editor and I have thorou...

Stamps....need I say more?
This last year I searched out a few companies who's images appealed to me... each has a unique style and I love being able to work with a variety of images. Late last summer I started working with Hampton Art. I was so excited to get to know them and use their images...AND I was elated to learn...

Simply Delight in Life
I'm a bit out of my element here; I was admiring Julie Ebersole's blog post a couple of days ago and saw her lovely card and cool sketch challenge. I didn't completely follow it, but it's close! I centered my image rather than offsetting it, and I left off the ribbon. (The ribbon that I tried...

WooHoo, a Giveaway!
I just received a little order from www.Joann.com and eagerly ripped into my box to get out my new Stylized Flowers A-2 Cuttlebug embossing folder to play with it, but it was a Swirl folder instead. Bummer! While I love the Swirls, I already had that one. When I called their customer service...
I love that you fashioned your own poinsettia out of a leaf stamp! It looks terrific! :) Thanks so much for sharing your techniques.
Retro Bodacious Poinsettia
I finally succumbed to the lures of the dotted background. . . I tried inking it with markers to get different colors of dots, and I had a less-than-stellar experience, even after huffing on the ink before stamping. (Maybe that was in part because it was a new stamp and still had some of that...
I am thankful:
- that my new husband, diagnosed at age 27 with congestive heart failure and chronic renal insufficiency, has survived the five-year mark with no significant deterioration.
- that my dad, after mom passed away, moved nearly 3,000 miles to be near me.
- for our two happy and healthy rescued kitties.
- for being involved in papercrafting as a way to preserve our stories and put smiles on faces.
- for the soldiers who risk everything to allow us to live in a free society.
Thank You
Hopefully you get a chance to take some time to think about all the things you are thankful for during this Thanksgiving season. One thing that we are thankful for among many is all of YOU. There would be no reason to have a blog if we didn’t have people like all of you to read it, so with th...
