Chaya Brasserie might be my favorite restaurant...

I got a new digital SLR camera and of course, I've been putting it to good use by taking pictures of my favorite thing besides clothing: FOOD! Went to Chaya Brasserie (Embarcadero/Mission) last night - it's my 4th visit to the one in SF - and I also went to the one in Venice during restaurant week last year. I absolutely love this place - it's pricey so I only get to dine here on special occassions. These boots have definitely grown on me! I wear them with leggings and also with black tights and dresses. I was recently in Eastern Europe and they were so comfortable for all the walking that we had to do! I highly recommend and think they will last such a long time that you will definitely make up the price in "cost per wear." I'm short 5'3".

The Corner - yeah that one on Mission & 18th where I saw your mom last night

My friend, Dreya, recently recommended that I check out a spot called The Corner (Mission/ 18th). The place has a warm NYC diner feel with cool electro music and a very friendly wait staff. And I guess it is technically a "wine bar." Tried out a few things on the menu - and concluded that I like this place for its good, cheap, casual eats with friends. I was lucky to find them in store - and got them one size down. I usually wear a size 2 as well. :) Hopefully you can find them in store since they are on such a long back order on the site!

I would definitely size down! The pants are still super slouchy and I often pull the tapered legs up to make the silhouette more exaggerated. :) They are really comfortable and they retain the shape well bc they are dry clean only.

I saw the larger one at Barneys NYC in person. The great thing is that you can now order the bags online at Balenciaga.com! They used to be so hard to find - so that its making them easier to purchase if you have the cash flow!!
