Are you kidding, Sabz? I know two other kids born the same day, also turning 7. Was it a full moon? Happy birthday to Big G!
It looks like a beautiful party! My kids have birthdays at the same times as yours, and while I always thought the birthday right on top of Thanksgiving was bad, the one right after school gets out is pretty bad too. Next year, I'm going to throw his party in May.

How scary! Our school rule is to drive "ridiculously slow," so slow that you feel ridiculous. Still, it's violated, but it's common for parents to yell slow down at others. I've hit cars with my hand to get their attention (especially of how close people are to their car). Crossing through our school driveway should not be a life threatening action. I can't believe that's not school related enough to merit email group posting. Lame.
Try a glutton for s'mores. Vive la Le Bouef!

My daughter would love this! She's learning to embroider, but I'm having trouble keeping up with her artistic demand, so I was thinking about putting together a kit of supplies for her. p.s. She's also a huge reader, so she'd love the book club theme.

This is awesome! I think I need a home lie detector too!
But then you don't get the cool "I'm a top (fill in the blank) blogger" box for your sidebar to let everyone know you've been validated. #1 frenemy!

Slippery slope! First, my husband was like yours, but I came into this relationship an Apple girl. I've slowly won him over. The problems are infrequent, in fact, other than when they were old and dying, I've never had hardware problems, but he still figured out how to do Mac stuff for me (like add memory). For the iPad, I just bought an iPad 2 because even though the original iPad belongs to me, I use it the least. It really belongs to my husband and son. Hopefully next for you is a shiny new Macbook! :)

My kids have just discovered video games, as have their friends, so we'd suddenly become the it house to hang out. Also, it would save money on a family gym membership. Hooray!
Love the picture! I can't wait until this lingering cold/allergies moves on so we can snuggle. And Cooper too.

My kids have brought home clothes from school that I don't recognize. That happens and it's not such a big deal. What is strange is when we keep the clothes. It should be noted that this happens with teacher approval.... Continue reading

It's not uncommon to hear someone say "My kid could do that," when looking at art, particularly at abstract works, but what is rarely heard is, "Did an adult do that?" when looking at preschool art. Until now I'd never... Continue reading

Oh MJ, I'm glad it wasn't any more scary than that. I totally get what you are going through. I take meds, but it is so hard to learn to chill out a little.
