Normally I prefer beef to pork, so I'm surprised I preferred the pork ribs. I like them both though, just the pork slightly more.

Happy hour is always a great way to try out new spots! I agree, the chirashi bowl here is pretty plain and uninspiring. The quantity was decent, but I would have preferred more variety.
