Thank you as always for your inspiring words Timji. I remember you once saying that "it doesn't matter whether your guru thinks he is a guru, it only matters if you think your guru is a guru. You are heavy with knowledge, yet light with prana. This has been a very difficult year for me - starting about the time I started making travel plans to come to Encinitas last year and then, when I got home, my husband moved into the other bedroom the second night I was home. I had an intuition when I was there that something wasn't right (I would have had to be blind not to realize it) If it hadn't been for your teaching and your weekly guidance, my life would have been much more cloudy. I plan to come see you again soon whenever I am available and whatever you are doing at that time - a single woman!

Isn't the 17th also a full moon in the northern hemisphere? Is this considered particularly auspicious as well. Certainly in the Hindu tradition there have been many full moons on Hanuman's birthday :)
I have just recently realized how much I have wanted to escape reality the past few years and after starting to re-read Pema Chodren's book "When Things Fall Apart" understood that the more I ran, the more I would be chased. I'm glad to know that the universe will be supporting me as I stand my ground and embrace whatever comes my way. Thank you Timji - see you soon!

I am usually a stickler for the traditional Ashtanga approach (at least as I have learned it through Tim Miller) but I have admit to a secret love of Larry's Rocket 2 DVD which I practice maybe once a week and teach a class based on the beginning (up to Upavistakonasa) of that sequence. Like Larry, I have no illusions about myself as a student or as a teacher and I truly appreciate your tribute to your friend. We are all where we are supposed to be.

Dear Timji, this post has special meaning for me as I am about to undergo a sort of personal journey of the soul, and I could certainly use someone to tell me that "It's all good." I love your stories always.

Tim, I love this post. The play of dualities is one of my favorite themes in yoga and in literature! Plus, the moon is now in my sun sign and autumn, anywhere in the northern hemisphere (I've never been in the southern) has always been my favorite time of year. I'm leaving for a road trip to come see you on the last day of the sign of Libra, October 22nd, my birthday! Can't wait to see Encinitas and Carlsbad and your studio!

Who is to judge what constitutes a certain medium as sacred. Sharing on-line is probably the most democratic and far-reaching medium at this time. Print it out and put it in a folder if you worry about losing it. With all respect and understanding to all opinions.
