All this debate over ordaining a lesbian bishop in the Episcopal diocese of Los Angeles is nonsense. As with any job, one's sexuality has nothing to do with how one handles a job. Can they perform the duties of the office? Have they shown the qualities required to be a good bishop? Where, I ask, does one's sexuality enter into that decision at all? Continue reading
