The following is an article from Using biblical and Jewish prophecy, the experts are predicting that if the peace efforts to solve the decades long conflict between the Palestinians and Israelies-pushed forward by Senator Clinton and President Obama-are carried through, the results could be catastrophic for the world. This is just something to think about as we witness the current event unfold in the Middle East. Maimonides teaches that the Jewish Oral Tradition does not clarify the details of future events described by the Prophets of Israel in the Bible. In his words, – "and in all these things... (A violent clash between the Egyptian Army and its citizens could be on the horizon.) And so quietly, almost off-handedly, the Rubicon has been crossed. The United States of America, whose blood and treasure have been spilled fighting terrorism, is jumping into bed with radical Islamists. via The above article from by Micheal Goodwin should be taken seriously. The crisis in Egypt has deteriorated to the point of no return. Protesters, calling for a democratic form of government in Egypt, were ecstatic with anticipation of President Mubarak's resignation from office. But in a move that the experts didn't... As you look at the headlines of newspapers today, one could become very discouraged with what is happening. Chaos in nations. Economic turmoil. Even in our own country, there is widespread fear that something is wrong. It seems to be in the air, a feeling or a sense of uncertainty about our future. People are fearful. But what is it they fear? This sense of doom is actually a prophesied sign of the times. It was fortold in Luke and in the Doctrine & Covenants. The prophets tell of a time when mankind will be in despair, fearful of the... Continue reading

(Image taken from The recent events in Egypt could possibly leave Israel isolated and alone in a region that is is rapidly becoming ripe for war. Egypt's relationship with the United States is deteriorating to a point where Egypt may soon become an enemy run by islamic extremists. Since the 1970s Egypt has been at peace with Israel and has even supported pro-American Saudi Arabia. The protests, calling for the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak, have grown violent. Even though the majority of the protesters in Egypt are pro-democracy, the instability of the government could lead to a take... Continue reading

History often repeats itself. Case-in-point - Germany, 1922: In 1914, as war ravaged Europe, the German government made a decision that would eventually lead to the destruction of the government as it was and to the eventual control of the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler 19 years later. This choice was the same choice that Roman emperors made when they debased their coinage toward the end of the Roman Empire. What was the choice? The decision that started Germany's downfall was the choice to not back its government's notes (German Mark) with gold. This decision led to the mass printing... Continue reading

AMMAN, Jordan – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday pledged his nation's continued support in helping the Palestinians acquire a modern, unified and sovereign state. via According to the article above from Yahoo news, the President of Russia supports the creation of a Palestinian state within the nation of Israel. If you read my Part 2 article on the Battle of Armageddon, you remember that the Lord stated that there would be dire consequences for those nations that would try to take or split the land designated for the Jewish people. With more and more discussion about the creation... Continue reading

The true gospel of Jesus Christ began on the earth with Adam and Eve. Adam was the first priesthood holder, with the authority to act in the name of God. In the Old World (the Eastern Hemisphere) The gospel and its members, all be it small, thrived until soon after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. After Christ's death and resurrection, his desciples continued to spread the true gospel. Unfortunately, the apostles and true believers were persecuted, hunted down, and killed. It was at this time that "the earth suffered a falling away from the truth, called the Great Apostasy" (Parry... Continue reading

This cartoon by Michael Ramirez epitimizes what our country is facing. At no other time in the history of the United States, has our country been in this much debt. In my opinion, $14 trillion of national debt is definately a sign of the apocalypse. If our country continues to spend billions upon billions of dollars for government bailout programs, then we will become slaves to a broken economic system. No longer will we have a free capitalistic system where individual enterprise and intuition provide opportunities and jobs for American citizens. No...we will be slaves to the government. The government... Continue reading

In Part 4 of the Battle of Armageddon series, we will learn of Jesus Christ's role at the conclusion of this horrific battle. We know that the armies of all the nations of the earth will be gathered in the Valley of Megiddo. The goal of these armies will be to destroy the nation of Israel and Jerusalem. It is during this time that the two witnesses prophesied of will minister to the jews in the ancient city for 3 1/2 years. Chapter 11 of the Book of Revelation gives a detailed of description of the two witness's role in... Continue reading

I would like to introduce a new column on that I will publish each week called "The Weekly Apocalypse." A dreary title, I know. But the intent of the column will be an analysis of current events and their relationship to the signs of the times. Teen Takes on Westboro Church High school project leads to confrontation Take a look at the news clip below from Fox News. In this clip, a teen took on the Westboro Church. Members of this church's congregation have been protesting at American soldier's funerals, as well as other church's claiming that God killed... Continue reading

The topic of the Battle of Armageddon is a touchy one at best. Many individuals in the secular world blame organized religion for the hype and interest of Armageddon and its eventual prophetic fulfillment. While organized religion is partly to blame, we have to remember that most religions are good and that some of the people in those religions have fallen into wickedness. Believe it or not there are wicked people within every religion on Earth. Nonetheless, the Battle of Armageddon does not come about because of some mystical prohecy willed into fruition by the organized religions of the world.... Continue reading

In part 2 of the Battle of Armageddon series I will discuss what nations will participate in this great and final battle. We do know, obviously, of one nation that will participate in this battle, and that is the nation of Israel. But what about the other nations of the world? What role will they play in this war that will lead to the Battle of Armageddon? The ancient prophet of the Old Testament, Zechariah, gave a very detailed description of who will be involved in this war and to which side each nation belongs. Behold, I will make Jerusalem... Hi Chris, Thank you for the positive feedback for my blog. To answer both of your questions. First, I just used James Ushher Biblical time line as a reference for time. Most people, like myself, tend to think in linear time. Have you ever tried to think about living without time? It gives me a headache. Who knows how long Adam and eve were in the Garden of Eden? It could have been as short as three weeks or as long as a thousand years. Until modern revelation reveals the exact Biblical time line, I will have to use Ushher's. In regards to your second question, In my opinion there will be silence for about a half hour before all hell breaks loose. After this half hour could be when we begin to see many of the horrible signs that will be unleashed upon the earth prior to Christ's second coming.

Jezreel Valley (Valley of Megiddo) in Northern Israel viewed from the Mount of Megiddo. A question commonly asked when people are looking for information regarding the Battle of Armageddon is - when will this battle take place? Of course, no one other than God knows the exact date when this battle will occur. But we do know of the general era of when it will take place. In order to understand the era when this battle will occur, we must understand time according to the Bible. While dates do not appear in the Bible detailing Biblical history, we do have... The Battle of Armageddon is perhaps the most recognized sign of the last days. It is not only recognized by those who believe in Jesus Christ, but is a familiar concept by unbelievers as well. Numerous books, films, and documentaries have been written and produced on the subject. But in order to fully understand the Battle of Armageddon, one must look no further than scripture and our latter-day prophets. The scriptures are very detailed in explaining Armageddon, and from scripture we learn the specifics about this forthcoming battle: When and where the battle will take place. What nations will participate... Continue reading

Below, I have posted three YouTube videos. These are warnings from modern-day prophets. The Book of Mormon tells of two great civilizations that flourished in the Western Hemisphere thousands of years ago. These civilizations became so powerful and prosperous that the people became lazy and idolatrous. Consequently, they allowed secret combinations of evil men to take over. These civilizations weren't destroyed from without by conquering armies. No, they were destroyed from within because the people turned away from the Lord and sat passively by as evil engulfed them. Please watch the videos below. Listen to the warnings. Are these things... Continue reading

In my last post pertaining to Christ's appearance at Adam-ondi-Ahman, I discussed the people who would be present at this sacred and momentous occasion. In part 3, we will examine the reasons why Jesus appears to his saints before his second coming appearances at the Battle of Armageddon and his final appearance in glory to the entire world. Joseph Fielding Smith, in his book Way to Perfection, states the following: all who have held keys [making] their reports and [delivering] their stewardships, as they shall be required. Adam will direct his judgment, and then he will make his report, as... Continue reading
