Thanks, David! Without you, all my little internet activism shenanigans would go unnoticed (and thus be futile). Really: sincerest thanks! Lee

They just don't want to answer the question, do they? OK, the ad was re-instated. Why was it un-instated in the first place? How do we know it won't happen again? If it weren't for bloggers like you, this might have never been resolved. There could be other similar, yet un-resolved, cases right now, but we have no way of knowing. Lee

w00t! Yeah, their response was lame, but at least the ad is getting rightfully displayed now. I'm not sure they would have responded at all if you hadn't kept the issue alive. Good job! Lee

David, It's almost May. Enough with the April Fool's Day jokes: "Facebook is committed to protecting our user experience by keeping the site clean, uncluttered, and free from intrusive advertising." Me funny bone hurts. Is #FacebookFail happening this weekend? I'll bring the popcorn. om NOM nom. Lee

Thanks, David! (Can I just call you @qmuser?) ;) I'm really happy this video is getting passed around even outside of NYC. We need help here, but the problem exists everywhere. If you want to help locally (outside of NYC), Ali Forney has a resources page that can help you find similar resources and organizations near you. http://www.aliforneycenter.org/resources.html Contact your local shelters, churches, synagogues, etc. and find out what their policy on LGBT homeless youth is. Even asking the question can get people thinking. Again, thank you so much for putting this out there for more people to find and think about. :D I am 100% in favor of our struggles for marriage equality, DADT-repeal and an inclusive ENDA, but we're all modern multi-taskers, and I know we can do more than one thing at a time. ;) My new slogan is "Let's show Maggie Gallagher what a gathering storm can really do!" Don't worry! If TX secedes, your friends in the US will smuggle you out. I imagine parts of TX would secede from TX to stay with the Union, and there would be emergency airlifts for US citizens who don't want to be stripped of their citizenship. ;)
