Trying to get all my online stuff in one place. It's hard for me to settle down online, as you can see here. I've never been good at keeping up on my blogging or my websites, and as I am getting older I am wishing I were better at it in the past so that I have a better record of my life. Not sure yet whether I will post my updates of all my sites here or not, maybe just highlights once in a while. Blah de da... consider this a fluffy test post. Continue reading

Ten days gone by... I'd love to tell you about all the great things that are going on in my life, but I can't, because there are none. Work has been stressful lately, and since I'm really into my job and it's the second most exciting thing I do with my life and what I spend a lot of time on, that really sucks. My friends, well.. That's a whole other letter for another day, because I just don't even know where to begin. Let's just say, people aren't who they seem... ever. Also, my back is killing me. This... Continue reading

Alisha and I went to go see a Post Secret exhibit last week, and tonight, for the first time ever, I made my own secret to send in. Of course, I don't have any stamps at home, so I'll have to wait til tomorrow to put it in the mailbox. At first I didn't know what to say - I have so many secrets. We all do, don't we? I looked at the picture I was about to send in - a picture that I cherish that I may never see again because it is my only copy and I'm... Continue reading

Elise and I went over to my friend Brittany's house today. Brit has a daughter nearly the same age as Elise, Savanah, and a nearly three month old son, Noah. While Brit and I relaxed on the couch after a long day of supervising kids in the pool under a hot, hot sun, the girls played upstairs in Savanah's room. They were being quiet, and then Savanah started scream-whining in the way that all possesive little three year old girls do: "Mooooooom! Elise's is POOPING IN MY POTTY!! I looked at Brit and raised my eyebrows, then yelled back: "Whaaaaaaat?"... Continue reading

As you can see, I failed again. It makes me wonder now what the point really is in saying that I'm going to blog EVERY DAY because I've never been able to do that, I've hardly been able to blog once a week or sometimes once a month in the past. I just have commitment issues I guess. This time, it was because of Alisha's birthday. Her birthday is always a big deal, I don't know why. My best friend is just all kinds of special that way, big deals are made out of her. We went to dinner at... Continue reading

Well, here is a picture of Elise from the wedding this weekend - this isn't the best picture, but let me tell you, she is so proud of her "wedding dress" as she keeps calling it. She wants to wear that dress every day now. I can't say that I blame her, she looks darn cute in that fishy little dress. So, as for me, tomorrow is supposed to be launch day for the new website. I'm going to have to go in to work and finish one thing up, but then all should be well and good in the... Continue reading

This morning I went out to lunch with Elise and my friend Michelle to a tiny diner in town called The Broken Yolk. I have heard such good things about this place, mostly from people who have lived in this town for a long time, but had never been there until today. I heard the best thing about the corned-beef hash - that it was home made! Not out of a can! I love corned beef hash, and certainly have never been lucky enough to have it made for me fresh and not grilled or slightly warmed after it had... Continue reading

Though definitely no love for me! Tonight Elise and I went to my friend's wedding, and we had a blast. I wasn't supposed to bring Elise, her grandma was going to watch her until she had to go get her dang gallbladder out, and I was kind of excited to be able to actually go to a weekend social event with my friends and not have to leave at a respectable hour due to a certain someone's bedtime, but we ended up having a great time. Elise seriously seemed like she was having the time of her life dancing it... Continue reading

I moved my Once A Day blog over to Typepad. Why? Because I'm CRAZY like that! I am also having a big problem typing because I think my nails are getting a bit too long. I have very strong nails that don't generally break that often, so they grow until I cut them, and I haven't cut them in about two weeks because we are going to a wedding tomorrow and I want to paint them a pretty color. I tried to get a picture of Elise and I in our dresses tonight but it was a lost cause because... Continue reading

You like that post from yesterday? The one that just said "lazy" and nothing else? That was cool, huh? I posted that from bed, from my iPhone, because all I wanted to do was read Moby Dick in bed and I just didn't want to let one day go by without posting. Totally accomplished! It counts even if it's one word. Oddly enough, there doesn't seem to be an iPhone app for Blogger/Blogspot. Whaaa? That just doesn't seem right. Because this whole thing would be a lot easier if there were one; trying to navigate this in my phone's browser... Continue reading
