I remember: walking to kindergarten by myself (that was along time ago when kids could do that) I went to afternoon kindergarten I liked snack time and nap time on my rug I liked art and using paste in a jar I once took a stray dog to school for show and tell and told the class it was mine. The teacher called me out on it, though, since she recognized it as her neighbor's dog! On the first day of school we were told to write our name and draw a picture--I have that drawing hanging in my scrap room. 45 years later, I can't draw much better but my penmanship has improved!

Inside my purse: iphone, reading glasses, wallet, knitting project, camera, receipts, lipsticks and chapstick, coffee cards, Mary Kay catalogs, business cards, keys

My dad worked part time as a doctor at the Oregon State Hospital (mental hosptial). We got to live in a beautiful house on the grounds but down the street was a locked gate, which lead to the State Prison! When ever there was a prison break, I was always fearful the escapee was going to come and get me. Thankfully, we only lived there for 2 years. My other fear was scary movies--I would go hide in the bathroom when the scary parts came on. I still don't really like horror movies. I am a nurse, so real life blood, etc don't bother me. Just movie horror!

So far today (it is only 8 a.m. on the west coast), I got up when I noticed my digital clock said it was 7:18 (we are having another snow day). Collected garbage in plastic grocery bags, scooped the cat box and drug the garbage can to the street for a hopeful pickup today. I took my Netflix envies to the mailbox and picked up my newpapers. Came in and got my fresh brewed coffee and helped unload the dishwasher before sitting down at the computer to see what is up with email and facebook. I am already tired--maybe I should go back to bed.....

My daughter's horse (who lives at a barn down the road) My sister surprised us at Christmas with a lovely portrait of our kids (she did it while I helped Tami and Kevin at CKC).
