My favorite is "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", especially the 2nd verse Oh, what peace we often forfeit Oh, what needless pain we bear All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer Lately that song has been more to me than an old hymn. Great post!

My family calls footies w/ little cotton balls on the back - chicken socks. I have no idea why. I forgot all about it until reading this post.

I would have never guessed. You picked a great truth to tell that no one would believe. Not that I don't believe you now, but when I read that, I thought 'yeah right, she's having a hard time thinking up stuff to lie about too!' Fun meme. Too bad I got blog-spanked by my mom on mine.

surfing the cirque des mamans ring (I'm 2 back from you) and found your smoothie post. I love smoothies! I make them with frozen strawberries, frozen mangoes, maybe some pineapple, flavored lite yogurt, and 7-up. Going to try diet 7-up though, and adding protein powder.

I'll pass on passing judgement about the lying b/c I did it too and had sad comments about grief, etc, which kind of spoiled my fun. But I think it's not #2 b/c of your brother's post - maybe #5? Happy lying! :)

I feel your pain. I could not find a calendar that I liked, so I bought a planner refill, 2 page per week, and a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" binder, and tons of lined pages to fit in behind it. My binder is now falling apart, after only 8 months of use, so I'm going to look for another planner, but I really like how this calendar refill works for me. I try to write in only pencil so I can change things as needed, but I think I like the journal-type feel of "no, that event got changed" when I see something crossed out. And I keep my old calendars, too.
