Our annual fundraiser was a huge success! We managed to raise funds to continue our rescue work. The love and support from the Santa Cruz Community and Bay Area was amazing! Our babies will be ready for adoption by the end of summertime. I love my work!

Say hello to Titan, my newest love. He is the product of PMU mares. Mares keep pregnant to collect their urine...anyway.hes stuniing and we are in love...cute cute....where is Chan these days miss him ! Super busy yes?

One foal born, another due this week! Made the KTVU Channel 2 Bay Area news on Sunday..brought in more donations for the horses! yeah...can feel the love!

My Newest Love.~ His mom was relinguished to us, has a bad leg. But her little man is perfect. When he's ready we'll adopt them into new homes. he's simply gorgeous! Makes otherwise stressful days a little brighter. Love does that!

Candace~Its really hard somethimes to muddle thru when youre in the middle of the pain. Often, there are amazing things to come down the road. It's really difficult to stay strong, so know I am here for you. there is true love, there is kindness and there are better days for you coming. I dont know what happened to you, but I do know that I am sending love youway, and hoping you hang in there, I know its sounds slily, stupid, creepy...whatever..but ask your guiding angels to help..and they will.They only wait to be called upon.I'm thinking good thoughts for you tonight~

Our First foal of the Spring has arrived. A little Colt. I sat in the stall and watched the rain fall. The garage light illuminated thr drops falling in the dark sky. Mom nickered and crunched on hay. I sat quietly. Baby gave his best effort and tucked his enormous legsunderneath himself and plopped to the ground. Tucked in his new foal blanket, he leaned his head against my thigh. I smiled as he drifted off to sleep, warm and safe. He will never know his mom was pulled off a lot waiting to go to slaughter. He will be loved and safe forever. It makes all the stress worthwhile. I sat and pondered how beautiful a moment I was given.~ Happy Easter, Happy Day~

I have a very pregnant mare. She is huge and looks ready! Anytime Gem, let's have this baby. This rescued horse is a doll, like many of our rescues so appreciative of the LOVE. You can check us out on the web. Have a GREAT LOVING DAY!!!
