Hi Susan - Have you tried fiddling with the tension adjustment? I would give it a whirl on a test piece and see if that improves things.

Hi Susan - Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well and it has put a hamper on your activities. I hope you continue to improve and feel better soon. And yes, I watched The Red Tent too and I loved it. I hope they show it again as I'd have no trouble watching it again. Wishing you blessings and healing mercies from above. Linda

That is too funny. He just thought he had found himself a new, very private, cozy place to relax. And it probably smelled really nice in there too with all the clean soft linens. I love Taco.

Hi Susan - I loved the movie Portrait of Jennie and Joseph Cotton is one of my favorite actors. I loved him in the movie Gaslight with Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman and also in The Farmer's Daughter where he played opposite Loretta Young. Both great old films. I'm with Barbara, I don't read Stephen King either, I find that his stuff is a bit too stimulating for my already over-active imagination!

Hi Susan - Sorry to hear about your daughter and your puppy not feeling well. If Miss Sophie will let you, try gently massaging her leg. Can you tell if it's the hip or the knee? My husband used to massage our lab's hip and it really did seem to help her. I hope the poor baby feels better soon. Wishing you blessings, Linda

Hi Susan - This quilt looks lovely, great job. I've never tried an applique quilt before. I should give that a whirl. It takes me forever to clean these days too. I run out of steam long before I run out of clean. I just do the best I can. Regarding the stuff under the couch and chair cushions, I wouldn't worry too much or knock yourself out. If anyone looks under there....shame on them. I'd be too busy looking at your beautiful quilts to worry if you have any dust under the cushions. :-) Blessings on you girl. Linda

Hi Susan - Bless your heart for being such a good mom to your fur-babies. My little kitty was just sick with a UTI. I know she was very uncomfortable but couldn't tell me. Poor baby, our vet has given us medication to clear it up and she seems better now. I believe God put animals on this earth not only for us to enjoy but to teach us mercy and compassion. God bless you and God bless Sophie too.

Hi Susan - I finally had to break down and get a new cell phone too. My little old flip phone finally bit the dust. I have found that my new phone is a lot easier for sending texts on the rare occasion when I want to send one. I haven't done it yet but I know you can also take pics with it and then upload them directly to Facebook which might be handy. Anyway, have fun with the new phone and yes, I love the background fabric, can't wait to see the finished quilt. You must show us now that you have been teasing us with pics of the blocks. Wishing you blessings, Linda V.

Hi Susan - These blocks are just too ding-dang cute. I love the birds holding the hearts. And how do you manage to get them put together so quickly, this would take me forever. Well, between my poor eyesight and my right hand that doesn't work so well since I fell and broke my wrist earlier this year. I can't wait to see how you put this together, I think it's going to be awesome!

Miss Daisy is so cute, such a wee little thing. Your such a good God-Mum to think about her comfort while she is staying with you. And Skipper, what a rascal! I know he's still trying to dig his way to China. Maybe he thought the bottom of Daisy's dog bed had a secret door that would get him there! Daisy's arrival should make for an interesting week. We await the next installment and perhaps pictures :-) Sending prayers for blessings and healing for you. I hope your back is much better today. Linda

Hi Susan - I'm so sorry to read that you are having so much pain. You're not whining, you're sharing and those of us who have suffered pain are fully able to comprehend. My version is not back pain, it's gosh awful migrane headaches and the all too frequent kidney stones. See, we all get something right? But pain is PAIN... and when it comes it is very up close and personal! I'm adding you to my prayer list and I pray that you will get relief very soon. Wishing you blessings and healing mercies from above. Linda

LOL - Skipper the Explorer tries to find a new route to China! Go Skipper Go! I used to have a dog that would dig holes in my yard but then she would lay down in them. She didn't give a fig about going to China, I think she was just trying to stay cool. Well if Skipper the Explorer finally makes it to China, I hope he at least brings you back a souvenier!

Hi Susan - Regarding Jesse and juicing. Tell him not to give up. I don't recommend jumping in with both feet to do a 10 day juice fast. Instead, replacing one meal a day for starters would be best. There are some really good books with juice recipes and a lot on the internet too. One of my favorites is 2 apples, 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 pear and a big bunch of kale put thru the juicer. It's really quite yummy. With most recipes finding the right ratio of fruit to veggie is the key or otherwise yes it will taste like dirt. Sorry to hear about Sophie's tangle with a critter, I hope she's ok now. Wishing you blessings, Linda

What a pretty quilt, I love the colors and I love French General fabrics. This is a great pattern, so versatile. This would make a great friendship signature quilt pattern wouldn't it? It's chilly and raw feeling outside here in Southeast Pennsylvania, just yucky. Doesn't feel at all like spring yet but my daffodils are up a good 6 or 7 inches in my yard so I know it's on the way. I've been lucky all my life and never had seasonal allergies but I know lots of people who suffer terribly with them. I hope you can take something for it that will give you some relief. Please post a picture of the quilt when you have it all done we'd love to see it. Wishing you many blessings, Linda

Aw, so cute! I remember when you first got the kitty's and you had to keep them penned in separate rooms, now look at them. Your Taco looks just like my Cricket. Hope you are having a super day. Wishing you Blessings, Linda

Hi Susan - Oh, it looks so beautiful. What a lovely place to lie down and take a nap. And I'm gaga over the table lamps. I absolutely gasped when I saw them as I have a pair that looks very similar in design except mine are ruby red in color. They were my mama's and I absolutely love them. Your bedroom looks so inviting, I wish I could say mine does but right now it doesn't. I gotta do something about that. Hope all is well with you today and you are not having pain. A pain-free day, that's my wish and prayer for you today. Take care, Linda
