Welcome back friends! I hope that you all are staying warm and cozy. Today I'm back as a guest designer for my beloved MFT. I had fun creating this card for them! Sometimes I get in a bit of a color rut. Traditional seasonal colors tend to dominate when I sit down to create. For today's card I challenged myself to use what my brain thinks of as a Summer color combination. This card was created as a birthday card... Continue reading

I love glitter. Yes, it might just be silly at... Continue reading

Welcome back friends! I've taken a bit of a break from cardmaking and it's good to be back! Today I'm jumping into the fun with.... To start off I created this holiday card using Die-namics Fa la la and Die-namics Delightful Deer. I die cut the Fa la la using Whip Cream cardstock and layered onto Jelly Bean. Wild Cherry letters were alternately used to fill in some of the negative space. I adore the little Cardinal in this set.... Continue reading

I'm back again to share a guest post for my favorite company, my stamping home... MFT! I really love these new images and had a lot of fun creating with them. One of my very favorite ways to add color to linear stamp images is Outline Coloring. I use a Copic Marker to outline the image on... Continue reading

Welcome back, friends! After a much needed break from blogging, I'm back today to share a card using images and products from my MFT home. It's so nice to get my fingers ink again! The fun part about papercrafting for me is figuring out new (to me) ways of using various products. Necessity certainly is the mother of invention. Often times I figure out things only to find out later that it's old news. This might be the case with... Continue reading

Hello, Friends! I'm posting a fun floral Thanks card for MFT today. It's been awhile since I've use my Scribble Circle Flowers products so I thought it would be fun to break some of those out. I chose Scribbles and Circle Scribble Flowers Die-namics for the focal point. I chose to leave the negative elements in and go for a whole look. Big Thanks Die-namics was use to cute out the letters from the white layer. With all the snow... Continue reading

Hi Friends, today I'm sharing this fun winter tag I made using MFT's Scenic Snow Globe. It's hard to tell but I scored the tag to create a little fold for the house to fit in then layered more tag pieces cut with the drift dies on top of that. I adore this little house. It's so fun to create using lyrics from one of my favorite holiday songs. This sentiment is from Snow Globe Sentiments. I stamped it prior... Continue reading

Hi Friends, welcome back! Snow snow and more snow! We've had some and are getting ready for more. I LOVE snow! I'm hopping in for the New Product Release for MFT with a sweet and snowy card using Friends in the Forrest stamp set and Die-namics. I immediately fell in love with the owl in the set. Welcome back, friends! Today I'm sharing a card that I made for a friend. Aren't those the best kind of cards?! I've pulled together some of my favorite MFT products for this warm, simple card. The detail on Single Stitched Line Rectangle Frames is perfect for matching with other stitched products and is layered over the Split Cheveron Cover-Up to give a neat dimensional effect. Die-namics Thanks is layered on top of Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips and framed by some... Continue reading

Welcome back friends! Today I'm sharing one last card for the MFT October release before you head off to shop for your new goodies. Handwritten Holiday is a fantastic LARGE sentiment set with lovely, swirly words. SO festive! I've heat embossed the focal sentiment in Gold while using the "falala" sentiment as a background. It's a fun way to bring music to the mind of the recipient. (I hope. LOL!) I also used Fab Foliage and Red Sequins as a... Continue reading

Welcome back friends! Fall is definitely in the air here in Eastern Washington. We had really cold weather and now we are going to hit close to 80 again. This is making all those beautiful leaves turn quickly and soon the region will be saturated with color. Today I've created a card using MFT's Plentiful Petals and Double the Smile Die-namics. It seems that there is a lot of need for me to give cards like this. Encouragement cards that... Continue reading

Welcome back friends! Today the MFT DT is sharing cards using products from the Essential Product line. I've use some fun sentiments from Essential Sentiments and More Essential Sentiments. The "You're too awesome" sentiment is a partial use of a sentiment. I love that I could selectively stamp that. I've also used Sketchy Flowers, Die-namics A2 Rectagle STAX set 1, and Die-namics Thanks & Hello. I used warm fall colors to fit this wonderful fall season we are in. The... Continue reading

Welcome back, friends! Today I'm jumping in on the MFT September Release with a CAS card that features All Smiles. Rustic Wildflowers also make an appearance here too. Both are amazing stamp sets! I used a Quickie Glue Pen to adhere glitter to the stamped Smile image and center of the flower. Some warm fall colors were used here too. I love this green and almost forget about it until fall. Which is a shame. That's a wrap... This is... Continue reading

Welcome back, friends! Today I'm joining in on the WSC348 for the MFT Wednesday Sketch challenge and have this sweet little monster card to share. So, I flipped the sketch and put the sentiment on the top. This is a great sketch in any way it's used. More Monsters stamps and Die-namics are fun, and great products. I masked the monster so that I could sponge his tummy with Sno Cone ink. Make sure to head on over to the... Continue reading

Welcome back, friends. I put together a fun card that I wanted to share with you tonight using more of the new Fab Foliage Die-namics. I adore these MFT Die-namics! These dies come lightly joined together. I usually clip/bend the dies apart. But, I really like how they were configured. I thought they would look cool to create a negative and fill in with colored foliage. I also used the Die-namics Happy Greetings and Die-namics Mod Rectangle STAX to create... Continue reading
