What a beautiful farm! We have several apple trees on our place and we have started to pick them all and freeze them.
What I do is cut up the amount for an apple pie, prepare it with all the spices, ready to go and put them in freezer bags.
Throughout the year we have wonderful apple desserts, since most recipes call for the same spices as for an apple pie.
I just finished last year's batch and ready to pick soon. Unless our horse and dogs beat us to it! They love picking apples.
