I haven't seen it, though I saw the trailer. The shaky camera work made me dizzy in the trailer and though I understand why it was used, I don't think I could sit through a whole movie of that kind of thing. I did get a review from someone who has seen it. He hated it. We live in NY and we've worked in the city and, apparently, it was so inaccurate. The Chrysler Building is too far from the Empire State Building. They walk across the Brooklyn Bridge when, considering where they are, they wouldn't even be near it. He also mentioned what you said, characters walking from lower Manhattan to Columbus Circle a bit too quickly. So, that really turned him off. If you're going to do a movie about Manhattan, at least get the locations right.

If you're old, I'm ancient. That's all I have to say about that. Winnie Cooper was (and is) a much better role model than some of the young ladies (using the term loosely) today's teenage girls have to look up to. Good for Danica. Good for the media for picking up the story, too.

Yep, another knitter here. I'd love to make the socks but the scarf would drive me nuts. Too long! The socks are amazing. I'll bet my son would actually wear those! I'm also wondering how many of these you'll receive as gifts. You should totally learn to knit but those are a bit advanced for first projects. Don't drive yourself crazy.

Wow, that's all I can say. You're one busy guy. I'm amazed you actually have time to blog! Good bio, by the way.

Not only did I watch this movie (a bootleg dvd, no less), I saw it with a student I was working with in a marine science high school class. Yeah, the students really appreciated the gratuitous nude scene in the beginning (totally unnecessary but probably the only interesting scene in the movie). It was awful. The students enjoyed it, though.

I have a question since I don't always understand all the computer reference. What is "spamming"? I'm a little lost with that reference.

Oh, no! A website selling nothing but t-shirts? I already have more t-shirts than I could possibly wear and I still saw some I wanted. Wil, you're killin' me here. And a big congratulations to Ryan. That's quite an accomplishment.

What beautiful pictures. I, too, would like to know what camera you use. Pretty amazing shots. They look like postcards. Nice that you both took a day off. Think of it as a mental health day, rather than a Bad Wil induced day.
