Hi Everyone Lowri McNabb here with my last guest post for Little Yellow Bicycle using the Head of the Class Collection. I have had a wonderful time working with LYB and I hope you have enjoyed my projects! I have two new projects to share today. Back to School Album Here I have taken a simple generic chipboard album and covered each side of the pages with patterned paper from the collection. Hi all, It has been a good day. LYB Guest Designer was selected. The response for the challenge was incredible. So many talented artists stretching their worlds by taking a risk with their art. Perfect for a Monday...easy peasy inspiration!!!! Sweet Summertime inspiration that is! LYB is thrilled to share several amazing layouts sent to us by our talented friend, Latrice Murphy. Latrice offers a unique mix of creativity, don't you think? Latrice offered five full days of LYB inspiration with PRIZES. Check it out. Latrice chose the Hello Sunshine patterned paper as her background focus and trimmed it down to 11"x11". It was also distressed and given a straight line stitch about 1" in from the edge. simple stitching and layering really gives the page nice dimension. Love how subtle the grass... Continue reading

Hello, I'm sitting in my office, looking out the window at all of the beautiful snow coming down. My kids built a huge fort yesterday. I'm thankful for this. Summertime.... isn't it the best?!!!! It is time ( a little late, sorry) to announce the winner of the Boardwalk challenge. I've decided to add an additional TWO winners... I think you will adore this feels sort of comfortable.. I hope my interpretation of vintage makes you think of bright and happy things. Fresh Print Clothesline was mainly inspired by the insides of my grandmother's cupboards. They were stocked with Fiestaware dishes. Fiestaware was unique: it was casual, colorful and affordable, and it brightened up the kitchen of a growing middle class. Each piece was lovely and purposed.
