Hi Merumochan.
Yes, I am absolutely gutted and angry.
The disappointment was sooo intense because I was really looking forward to going there.
We are definitely going next year's Ladies day. Would you like to come too? You are more than welcome!
Gutted...
A huge disappointment! Our Royal Ascot outing is off. The friend of my friend was supposed to organize the tickets. However, she left it too late (I don't know which enclosure she was booking). Now, all the tickets are sold out. While my friend was trying the last ditch effort, her husband star...
Hi Cristbal!
Isn't it gorgeous? If you see any stud like this, will you let me know?
Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!
Project PORCUPINE!
I need a help! I am looking for this particular style of the spikes(?) for my next project. Since I saw this image in my favorite blog LUXIRARE, I have been looking for it everywhere. However, it is no avail so far. I can find this kind of spike easily. They are fixed to the fabric by...
Hi Jordans2,
The only criticism about iPhone is their shitty camera! It just isn't good enough, is it? The new iPhone 4's camera has 5 megapixel instead of 3. So let's hope the situation will improve (^-^;)
Fish!...
I enjoyed the very first ice cream cone this weekend. The sunshine was scorching hot. And it must have been a hay day for ice cream vans. Paul and I were completely absorbed in licking & slurping our ice creams while we walked through the huge crowd of tourists milling around Southbank Centre. Oh...
Yes! Finding those vintage buttons was a bonus!
Do you find any vintage fabric in fairs?
Jackpot!
I couldn't remember exactly when I was in Portbello Green Market on Friday last time. Maybe about 2 years ago? I always liked it on Friday rather than on Saturday. Oh, Saturday in that part of London! It's like a sunny weekend on Brighton beach. Anyway, I visited my favorite boutique STILL on Lan...

I didn't know that you have fish & chips in the states?
Do they look same as UK's?
Do you eat it with salt & vinegar?
Oh my!!
Scrumptious!
Primarily, this blog is not about food or gourmet dining. However, I had a nice plate of fish & chips for lunch at Tate Modern. So I share this scrumptious sight before I demolish it. Well, it seems that the longer I live in this 'green and pleasant land', the plainer my preference for food becom...

Not going ga ga...
So unseasonal but I ordered a pair of winter boots yesterday. Well, it became an obsession ever since I came across this image in Emily Zak's blog. It looked like a sibling of L.L.Beans gum shoe hunting boots. Yet I couldn't find anything similar in their site. Anyway, I kept on looking...And ...
Thank you!
I shall work on it more today. So you can see the further progress.
Coming along nicely...
After threading the yarn through the tiny holes which I made with a punch, I can start knitting again. The style of this project is a bolero. Oh, it's so nice to handle this yarn instead of the last one I suffered throughout the previous project! My only concern at the moment is how the suede ...
I know it is a bit odd to buy snowboots rather than flip flops!
But don't they look great? I really like old LL Bean's. So when I saw this image, I was determined to track them down!

Thank you! I have already started with a new project.
Studding is a completely new thing for me. Obviously, I need more experience. But it's such a fun. And I love it!
For Mr.B's collar, well, he wears a harness. (^-^;)
And it may be too heavy for him?...
Short & sweet?...
According to Met Office, today is the last day we enjoy this summer like weather. That's a pity. However, it is because we are not blessed with sunshine all the time, we arreciate it more once it arrives, don't we? When I took Binnie out for a walk before bedtime, I felt a distictive chill in the...
Does your princess hate / love to be groomed?
Other than a dental care, he loves me to make a fuss over him.
Suppose he just want my attention...?
I am so glad that I sorted out his overgrown paws. It was a disgrace.

Grooming time,,,
I am ashamed to admit that I have been neglecting Binnie while I was not too well. Take a look at his overgrown paws! It is an absolute disgrace... Binnie is so weird that he loves his paws trimmed with a clipper. Or it so appears. He gets really excited when I produce a clipper. Yet, he barricad...
All to do with 'necessity is the mother of invention', isn't it? (^-^;)
A tailor's chalk was too hard for drawing on leather. So why not Tip-ex!
Improvisation...
After pinning the folds, I stitched them roughly to create darts. Then the fabric was transfered to the work bench. With the help of curved templates, I traced the line. And then...Voilà! I ran out of a chinagraph. Oh no! How am I going to transfer the pattern on the suede... After a long rumm...
Definitely. The only thing is they are open during weekdays only. Can you have a day off from work? I didn't ask about fish skin or PU. Shall I text you the contact number? I cannot write it in here because they don't want to have their detail to be public apparently. They are very worried about being burgled. Oh well, that's South London for you...
Packed with possibility...
I have just came out of the leather marchant with a slight hint of migraine. May be the tempareture in the warehouse was touch too cold for me? Ever since that ordeal related to my infection, the ache returns as soon as I feel unwell. The pain is hoovering like a distant thunder all the time. How...
American sizing...
So this is the shirt which stole my heart. I tried it on as soon as I came home. It may sounds silly but I was looking for a shirt like this for a long long time. Anyway, I studied the shirt & me more critically. And I still LOVED it! I can hardly wait to wear this with the sleeves rolled up this...
Thank you Fei! Once it is lined, the project is truly finished.
For that, I have to have my sewing machine serviced first though...

The funny thing is that I don't see any guys dressing like them other than on runway.
I find they are way too skinny to be a "real man".
And I don't think how these clothe can be water down so those "average Joe" won't be freaking out...
Henrik Vibskov S/S 2010. Interesting concept but the clown like shades? I am not so sure about them...
Thank you, dear. There are so many things I want to try!
We need more than one "me". Or an extra pair (or pairs) of hands.
Oh well, I rally on...
Layer cake...
I found this image from my most favorite blog Style Bubble. I could combine layers of leather like this in my "woolly concoction", couldn't I? Location:B144,Hackney,United Kingdom [Posted with iBlogger from my iPhone]
How did he secure this "thing" on his head?
That's what I wanna know. The hat would be a star in Royal Ascot, don't you think?
Mmmm.... where is the Cadbury flake??
He looks weird. But in a good way. The way he assembled his look, it is really intriguing...
With his spider-like brooch with those shade, he looks like a villain in science fiction comic.
Weird and Wonderful
