80 candles is cause for celebration and you can never go wrong with cake! Happy summer Kim.
I just love birthdays,
don't you? And ESPECIALLY, when there's cake! Cake and golf...but maybe not at the same time. Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer:)
At first glance I thought they were sap cans ~ oops is right!
oops
Guess we should have brought those boots in, instead of leaving them outside to dry! Looks like Aprils Fools came 8 days late!
I think it's safe to take the sign down now!! Last week's warm weather helped get rid of so much snow and ice even though it is freezing again today ~ oh well ~ it IS only March!
CAUTION:THIN ICE
I think it's safe to say, hockey season is over!
I want one too ~ just think what you could reach though with those arms!! Nice to see you back ~ got my jam and the picture a couple of weeks ago ~ can I say how much I love that shot ~ you are brilliant! Happy March Kim ~ I hope winter is treating you kind down there in the sack!
I want one of these...
one of these crazy skinny mirrors :) Well, maybe without the long crazy skinny arms;)
Happy Valentine's Day Kim ~ your kids are so so sweet!
noun and verb:
Love. That's all there is : true love. My true loves. Happy Valentines Day everyone. Public Service Announcement for February.
Test test test test ~ you there!! I have not commented lately but I am still around. :o)
From here.
From here.
And a great service announcement it is!! I will hold you to that date for tea!
and watch for flying pucks. Because they could hit...
and watch for flying pucks. Because they could hit you in the face and change your whole world..... *My public service announcement for January* Let this be, a happy new year:)
Happy New Year Kim ~ love this post!
Great Expectations.
Period. I had them. I always have them. Great intentions. I'm full of them. Oh I wanted to write this marvelous post about all the wonderful things I did this year, all the amazing people I met.....but let's face it. I'm not organized. I can be organized at work, but not at home. I'm organized ...
Now how cute is she!! A little bit of royalty to get you through the holidays!
In case you missed the Queen's Christmas Day message....
here she is... on my window sill, where she waves to me every day through the brilliance of her solar powered purse. She makes me feel important. Happy Boxing Day Everyone.
Too funny ~ you SAY it was straight but was it really??!! I like it :o)
If you stand a certain way,
the tree is straight. I swear it was straight when I went to bed last night.... It's the lazy christmas tree this year...no ornaments, just balls. And my felted wool santa. I kind of like him on that crazy tall branch at the top...looks like he's coming in for a landing. ok that's all for me...
This is so cute Kim ~ I will keep my fingers crossed for pebbles but I think that is an awful lot to wish for!
Waiting to hatch....
and wondering what will come out of my round rock collection. I'm hoping lots of pebbles so I can fill the hole at the end of our driveway:) What do you think my chances are?
OK - you need to tell me the story behind this!! At first glance I am thinking Mt A ~ but what are they doing?? Do tell..... :o)
Deconstruction.
Brick by numbered brick.
Oh I love this ~ it's like "it's all about me ~ here I am here I am"!!
I've said this before,
and I'll say it again. There's one in every crowd...... and isn't she cute?! Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weekend.
Perfect ~ happy week-end to you too.
Spotted.
The last daisy of the season. October 21st. Pretty sweet I'd say:) 'For every minute your are angry, you lost sixty seconds of happiness.' - Ralph Waldo Emerson. Well said Ralph. Have a great weekend everyone.
My heart broke when I heard he had passed ~ a brilliant man with a brilliant mind simply gone too soon.
Connecting the dots.
My first computer was a Mac. Can't tell you what model, but the year was 1991 and it was a color monitor. HUGE in those days! We didn't have a color printer so no printing of that color, but still. I loved that we could see colors on the screen, that I could fool around with graphics and type. I...
I just flashed back to Roxanne & Andy's wedding where there was a drag down, hair pulling fight to catch the bouquet ~ I won ~ I have always had shoulders like a linebacker!
Catching the wedding bouquet
is not as easy as it looks. I've tried in the past, but have always had LOTS of (younger) competition. Well, I was finally at a wedding where I was thee only single female in line for the bouquet toss (to be honest, the other two singles had already left;) ) So my chances were pretty good. I w...
This is adorable! I can actually picture this child sitting at the table and getting help with the spelling to make this sign. Maybe it should also stay I am starting out with Yorkies and will work my way up as I get older!
the sweetest little thing...
on the grocery store bulletin board. If I didn't already have a dog, I'd rush out and get one....JUST so I could get this charming child to walk my dog. I don't know who Mackenzie is, but I sure want to meet him or her:) Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful long weekend.
I have fallen victim to the exact same thing in my front flower bed ~ everything blooms early or late ~ nothing in between. That and too much of the same color ~ I think next spring if we actually have one next year I will plan a little better!
What not to do....
when planting a front garden. Do NOT plant flowers, perennials to be exact, that will flower all at the same time. Looks awesome and beautiful and gorgeous, but for about one week only. And then, not so much. Green is great, if your name is Kermit. Every year I say to myself, 'KIM, divide thos...
You are forgiven for not posting ~ as you can see I am behind on my reading as well! Congrats to Hannah!! Sackville had the greatest prom and pictures at the swan pond are amazing. I was there with Lisa & Jillian and I was giddy... thank goodness you will have some time to recuperate before you go through it again.
Should I start at the end,
or finish at the beginning? June was the busiest time of my life....weddings,babies, and most importantly, one of the best days of my life. Hannah graduated from highschool. It was a proud day for me as it seems just yesterday that she marched in to nursery school at age 3, insisting on going in...
I am still here but tomorrow has come and gone and you are not here :o( *wink*
Just like the toilet....
I am, After almost 4 months of being out of order, I'm back. I hope that some of you are still out there. I have alot to share Can't wait to get posting again. See you tomorrow:)
Wowza ~ that's a lot of water!! Good thing you like walking!
Proof in the puddle.
Good thing I like walking ;)
Oh what fun! It takes me back to Lisa & Jillian and prom night at the swan pond. I cannot wait to see the pictures that you take!
I can't help myself...
all I can think about these days is the fact that this 2 and a half year old girl.... will be graduating in 3 months. Where on earth did those 15 years go?
I wish I could say that I cannot believe you have that much snow but I can no longer see my neighbors house due to the snowbanks! What a winter ~ enjoy your fire ~ there is nothing better than wood heat.
The weather gal says....
Snow Snow Snow snow Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow and shovelling. More shovelling More snow. But that shovelling has it's good points: 'cause where there's wood...there's fire. Where's there's fire, there's heat. That's where I've been. But the forecast says I'll so...
Found it ~ bookmarked it and it is beautiful Jeanne!
Weekend Update {winds of change}
Come on...who doesn't like to quote Monsters Inc.? Well, it is official, the new website and blog is up and running! My super talented friend and designer/photographer/decorator extraordinaire, Sara Duckett, did a knock out job! I will keep this site going for a little while while you all get ...
Great post Jeanne and what an opportunity you had. I cannot wait for more of your posts about what you learned. Have a fabulous week-end!
