I'm very glad you finally have your own space for card-making! You are so deserving of that!!! And what a great space it is. Thanks for sharing.
Craft Room
It only took me over 25 years to have my own space. But I finally committed a small corner of our bonus room for my stuff. A sweet friend blessed me with the white storage units last year when she remodeled her stamp room. I had them stored in a utility room. I've always had at least a desk wher...
Very cool to use ribbon for the banners. Such pretty colors. I'm glad you were able to stamp AND work in your garden - what a wonderful day!
Practicing at Clean and Simple Again
This clean and simple sketch came in handy for me when I needed a quick thank you card. It is CAS(E) this Sketch #30. I’m playing along two weeks in a row, now. I’ve never been consistent about participating in challenges, but the very nature of CAS means I shouldn’t have too much trouble f...
So sweet, Leslie! I always love the stitching on your cards. I'm much too lazy to get out my sewing machine for my cards! LOL! The embellishments are awesome, too.
Baby Frame
Hello! I have a baby card to share today. I was excited when a coworker told me there’s a whole passel of babies coming along in his congregation and his Mom is going to want cards for all of them. I love making baby cards. Babies and florals, and if I can throw in a critter now and then I...
Another stunning card, Leslie! I'm really glad you explained why it's "simple" because it doesn't look simple to me! Love all the white with the green and blue mixed in. The layout - and everything else! - is wonderful.
Botanical Bookplates
Hello! Today I’d like to share a very simple card I made using Flourishes Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. The floral image is from Vol. 1 and the sentiment is from Vol. 2. I call this simple because the coloring was really very quick. Stamped in green Palette ink (waterproof...
Oh, Mary, she is SO sweet! I can't believe you are a great-grandmother! Sorry you can't stamp any more - that is sad. I hope you are having spring now. We sure are here in Minnesota. It's supposed to be 70 tomorrow! Take care.
Baby Grace
My very first great grandchild, Grace was born on March 1,2012. I have been wanting to share my very happy news with those of you who still visit my blog and who do not follow me on Facebook. Grace was born during a snow storm as well as an ice storm. I had hoped to be at the hospital when Grace...
Thanks for the update about you. Sorry to hear of your back problems. My husband went through them last fall (didn't require surgery, thank goodness) and our daughter-in-law is going through them now. Surgery has not been ruled out yet. I hope you can get things resolved to do what you need to do. Best wishes!
I'm Still Standing.......
No not like the lyrics to Elton John's "I'm still standing".................more like I'm still standing and I'm grateful that I am. :) I've had a few lovely ladies write to me and ask if I am doing okay. I said that I would blog about how I am doing and what I have been up to by Monday. Well h...
So very beautiful!!
Ruby Tuesday: Stella's Dahlia
When I saw this card on Danielle's blog the other day, it reminded me that I haven't had my Kitchen Sink Stamps out for a while. What's up with that, I wonder when I love them so much? This set is called 3-Step Daisy, but I sometimes like to pretend it's a dahlia so I can enjoy a variety of c...
Great card - it sure doesn't stink! Thanks so much for sharing it - it's much more than all right. Thanks for an entertaining post. It's nice your husband cares.
Dear Paperlicious: Card Discussion with Mr. DP
Mr. DP: So what's happening with the blog. Not a whole lot of stamping? Me: I'm stamping. My stuff stinks lately. Mr. DP: No it doesn't. I love it. Me: You have to say nice stuff. We are related. Mr. DP: Since when do relatives have to say nice stuff? Me: Good point. >>>>>> Me: So, he...
