this is my favorite song on the whole album. It always reminds me of a bride and grooms first dance, I think it would be a perfect wedding song!

"Remembering" .... To Halifornia, With Love If I could go back, I would travel back to the days of 12 people living under one roof. 24 hours a day of spending time together, and 7 months of building a brand new family. If I could travel back I would go back to the times when times were good. even when they were bad. I'd go back to endless amounts of meetings and group activites, of fighting and bickering, and never being able to sleep in. Times when we never understood our quebec friends, and they couldn't understand us but we would all laugh and pretend anyways. I'd go back to memories of our precious 24 hours off a week, our movie nights in "the nook", pillow fights, getting caught in the boys' room, and getting lost in our brand new city that we were supposed to call home for the next 2 and a half months. Back to snow piled up so high and blowing so hard we thought we would freeze to death walking to work. To only $21 a week, that we'd send on junk food and cigarettes within the next 5 minutes. To snowball fights, and walking EVERYWHERE. To a family we never really learned to cherish until it was just too late. I'd go back to the very beginning when times were never better, even though the food could have been. To theme dinners, and black outs for 24 hours. To staying up till 6am trying to get to know each other, and finding out the next morning, it's against the rules to sleep in the "common rooms". I'd go back to grand openings and meeting new and important people. Getting lost in the "ghetto" side of town where the people and their dogs were scary. Back to "faking sick" so we could stay home with the house managers, or simply becuase we hated our work, even though we were only volunteers and weren't expected to do much anyways. I'd go back to my re-growth as a person, when I spent days at the DWC learning about feminism and that it really isn't about only being a feminist, but an anti-ism kind of person. back to artists against tsunamis and my very first open mic performance, when I was scared shitless even knowing i had 11 people in the front row all there to support me. I'd go back to missing my family but knowing what I was doing was so much more than just a volunteer program. I'd go back to every single memory good or bad and live it all in the moment, this time knowing it would all be over before it even felt like we had really begun. Back to every single person, every job, every morning we woke up and wanted to go back to sleep, every ride in the van, every walk down a brand new street, past new neighbors, to a new job in a new city, living in a new house. Every climb up or jump down from those stupid ass bunk beds. Eveery picture, every laugh, every song, and every dance. I'd go back to "riding on my pony" and every embarassing thing they made us do that we simply laughed our way through. I'd go back to it all.... Back to Katimavik. Back to a time when I first realized what it was like to REALLY live. I miss you guys. I love you all.
