Hi Teresa. I just read this post and felt compelled to post a response. I, too, own a business in the scrapbook industry (me & my BIG ideas) and have a son who is very serious about baseball. I thought I could share a little insight. Right now, my son, Tyler, is playing in the minor leagues in the Cardinals organization. We learned a lot along the way and received some very good advice that I am so thankful for. You are right on the money with putting your son's happiness first. Good high school baseball programs are great but they aren't everything. There are so many other opportunities for growth and visibility in baseball. If your son is happy and well adjusted...his game will be better for it. Baseball is such a mental sport, as I'm sure you know. And good baseball players get noticed even if they aren't in THE baseball school. If you ever need someone to talk to or have any questions about the whole baseball process you can contact me anytime. [email protected] I wish you and your beautiful family all the best! Stephanie
