RE: Pico vs. Previous. I don't care as long as it changes on a regular basis. I've come to expect it and feel let down if sippey.com doesn't change once a quarter.
RE: interactive. I'm still obsessed with Press Here by Herve Tullet. I brought it in the other day to print (and web) designers to show them how much fun you can have with paper and imagination.

And two makes a trend! Last month Berg London (yep, them again) published SVK, a comic from Warren Ellis and Matt Brooker. A critical piece of the story line is printed with invisible ink that you can only read with the "SVK object," a UV light source that's packaged with the book. I had a chance...

Everything is a playground
One thing I've learned during the move is that everything is a playground to a 1 and 3 year old. Here's George figuring out new uses for an LC1 Chair. Continue reading

We just did the opposite move and have instantly started to appreciate the mental lift from breaking routine. Good luck with the move and enjoy the Bay.
And don't fall into the trap of believing there aren't seasons. They are just more subtle.
Go West, Middle-Aged Man
At some point this winter, mostly likely as I was climbing over the three feet of snow that stayed piled on our sidewalk from late December to February, it occurred to me that I had spent twenty-one years in New York City--exactly half my life. I moved here originally in 1990, straight out of co...

It's that time of year
Francisco is admired for his devil-may-care-swing-at-everything-and-kill-it-into-the-riverness, Volquez for his Bugs Bunny changeup (one of the best in the biz at getting whiffs), and Chapman for...duh.
