The Sunday Giveaway: 2 Tickets to Venus In Fur
She's baaaaaaack. And when I say She, I mean, the actress that is the reason this show even opened on Broadway in the first place. Not too long after the critics drooled all over Nina Arianda's performance in last year's Born Yesterday, a revival of David Ives' Venus In Fur was slated for The G...
How do you pick? I would have loved to see RENT in workshop. I also really wanted to see Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and Peter and the Star-Catchers. But I think the biggest regret for a show would be A Life in Theater, with TR Knight (Who I had no clue who he was, and the lady was obviously trying to sell it to the fact I'm young and he was on Grey's anatomy or something)And Patrick Stewart. I almost changed my mind to see Patrick Stewart but saw Phantom instead. I had so many more opportunities to see Phantom, I don't know why I didn't go see A Life in Theater instead. Sigh.
The Sunday Giveaway: A ticket to see How I Learned To Drive with me.
There are just a few shows that have played on or off Broadway in NY that I have always regretted missing . . . and one of them is the show we're giving away tickets to this weekend. The winner of today's giveaway is going to see Norbert Leo Butz and Elizabeth Reaser in Paula Vogel's Pulitzer P...
A musical about Josef Mengele, the man who inspired The Human Centipede. He worked in Auschwitz and experimented on children who called him "the angel of Death" We could call it "Angel of Death" or "In Stitches" (but then it'd be a comedy.)

While I adore Wicked- it was the first show I ever saw on Broadway and the second show I watched my father cry at (Les Miz was first), it is not my favorite Schwartz work. Hunchback of Notre Dome. "God Help the Outcasts" brings me nearly to tears every time. I cannot wait for the stage version to Hit the US. But I love all of his work.
The Sunday Giveaway: 2 Tickets to Seance on a Wet Afternoon at NYCO
The greatest artists are the ones that are never satisfied even when they are at the top. The greatest artists are constantly looking for new challenges within their field, and pushing themselves into new worlds, even when they don't have to. Stephen Schwartz has an Academy Award. He has a G...
